I love the idea of putting it into a card for the particular worker. If I have any chances, I may give that one a go. :) It really is a nice gesture.

Now we wait for the ad-scans and for Circuit City... then all will be well in the world. \:D/

Just confirmed that the Sam's Club stores in Dayton, OH will be open at 5am on BF and "will have deals".

If you are going to set up wi-fi at home, go with linksys. I have the NetGear wireless router and PCI wireless cards at home, and it sucks. Because the router and our cordless phone are both 2.4 Ghz, every time we use the phone, the wireless will freak out for a few seconds. Also, some of the pc's are about 50 feet away with 1 drywall&paint wall in between and they only get about 45% signal. In fact, I'm considering picking up some of the Linksys equipment and selling the netgear stuff on ebay.

A great Circuit City ad would be nice too. Something.. ANYTHING better than what we've seen so far!

Just got done looking at all of the posted ad-scans. I'm really not impressed. I still think the laptop at Wal-Mart is a good deal, but other than that, nothing has been worth getting up at 3 am. :) I've said it before, and I'll say it again... I can't wait for the Best Buy ads to come out lol

Hmm... I Just got done actually looking at the ad-scan, and yes, it is a bit dissapointing. I would almost compare them with Wal-Mart from last year. Oh well.. I'll just sit here and impatiently wait for the Best Buy ad-scans!

Believe it or not, when I first bought a set of these at Wal-Mart, we opened them up, and one person started driving away while I stayed in the store... got about 1.5 miles range. Of course, if I'm deep in the bowels of the store it won't be so good... but that's what cell phones are for!

What is this "budget" that people keep talking about? I plan to shop until the bill collectors actually show up at whichever store I'm at to break my kneecaps!

I plan to have at least 2 "shopping buddies" with me. We need to hit Wal-Mart, Sears, and a few other places all within an hour, so we'll be at different locations, with some handy 3-mile range walkie-talkies (17.42 per pair at Wal-Mart) so we can keep in touch or call for backup.
