  1. Rite Aid has buy 1 get 2 free on wrapping paper and on arm and hammer laundry detergent, but I don’t know what they charge for 1 roll of paper or 1 bottle of detergent. Hopefully it’s as good of a deal as what Walgreens used to offer.
  2. When they say 50% off holiday collection treats, is that for any brand that puts out a holiday specific treat (like Zune’s sometimes makes their mini treats in different shapes, like pumpkins for Halloween)? Or is “holiday collection” a specific line/brand of its own?
  3. I’ll try to get the 80 count k-cup deal. A local charity I like to support always has them on their donation wish list and $17.50 seems like a pretty great deal.
  4. Maybe try to change things up a little and see if that helps create some excitement for BF/the holidays. Figure out what made it so special/exciting in the past and take that idea and come at it from a different angle so to speak. Gift giving has evolved over the years in my family. One year we didn’t do presents at all which really threw me for a loop. I had to change gears and adapt my BF and holiday traditions so that it still felt like the holidays but with a twist. Even though I didn’t have any presents to buy that year I still went out on BF with my dad (my usual BF shopping buddy) and we played a game of BF related scavenger hunt/bingo hybrid. Whoever lost the game bought breakfast that morning. It kept the going out on BF with my dad part of the tradition alive even though the shopping part changed drastically (we might pick up one or two things along the way for ourselves or household items but that’s it). And that Christmas morning instead of spending it together unwrapping presents we spent it together enjoying a huge family breakfast (before we didn’t really eat breakfast Christmas morning). It was the being together part and making memories that mattered most, we just had to come up with a slightly new way to do it.
  5. I completely and utterly despise running, but to each their own. I do boot camps and yoga to work on my weight goals instead. I always tell my husband, who just ran a marathon, that I would only run if: 1) a truck was driving down the street offering all you can eat ice cream for free AND 2) a homicidal maniac was chasing me with a knife/chainsaw or equivalent. One or the other is not enough to make me run, it would have to be both. And if the homicidal maniac had a gun, well I can’t outrun a bullet.
  6. Do you think I could replace the kale with spinach? I’m not allowed to eat kale (dr.’s orders, I swear) but this recipe sounds so delicious I need to try it!
  7. My dog is a little picky when it comes to treats but I hate giving him the same thing over and over. Variety is the spice of life so I might try to pick up some of the BOGO treats for him to try. At least this way if he turns his nose up at them I won’t be so annoyed because I will have got them for cheap.
  8. The only thing that jumped out at me on my first go through was the Home Alone game (on page 19 I believe). It looks super cute! I’ll have to point out the good baby gear deals to my sister who is expecting in April. Overall it was a really good ad, I’m just not in the market for much this year.
  9. Congrats to the winners and thanks for some cool gift ideas that I might steal!
  10. Not a fan of the term HoliDeals. Hopefully it will be a short lived fad and gone before 2020.
  11. I find it ironic/funny that the CYBER Monday Kohl’s cash deal is IN-STORE only. You would think it would be available online since it’s for a day promoting online shopping.
  12. The baker in your life would like a rolling pin that takes out the guess work on cookie dough thickness and pie crust diameter. https://www.amazon.com/Joseph-20085-Adjustable-Removable-Multicolored/dp/B0091QO3RK/ref=sxin_3_osp43-9927dca7_cov?ascsubtag=9927dca7-5ee2-40ed-a3c9-5f70d79d2b02&creativeASIN=B0091QO3RK&cv_ct_id=amzn1.osp.9927dca7-5ee2-40ed-a3c9-5f70d79d2b02&cv_ct_pg=search&cv_ct_wn=osp-search&keywords=joseph+joseph+rolling+pin&linkCode=oas&pd_rd_i=B0091QO3RK&pd_rd_r=1ccc39c8-8d60-4a4d-9ea0-a4005af5543a&pd_rd_w=3kWbF&pd_rd_wg=sUrUN&pf_rd_p=33b90d57-4392-4d9b-9557-da4c9de25645&pf_rd_r=MNEK9YFJHDSMMV91B8QP&qid=1573013685&tag=bgr0a0-20 Edit: I’m in a different time zone than normal so if I missed the deadline/cutoff please ignore this post. Thanks!
  13. Finally upgraded my phone but now I don’t have a headphone jack and the iPhone earbuds that come with the phone are too big for my ears. This is a super handy converter that lets me charge my phone at the same time too. Great for a stocking stuffer. https://www.amazon.com/Lightnįng-Headphone-Adapters-Adaptor-Splitter/dp/B07YPY22Q8/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?keywords=iphone+headphone+adapter&qid=1572873622&sr=8-8#aw-udpv3-customer-reviews_feature_div
  14. For the last few years Kohl’s has started their online BF sale (with the exception of door busters) at midnight CST the Sunday night/ Monday morning of BF week. They do not give access to the door buster items (or at least most of them) until later in the week, usually sometime Wednesday night/Thanksgiving morning. Hope that helps.
  15. My husband swears by these travel bottles for his shampoo and conditioner. He uses them in his gym bag where they get tossed around and squashed. They would be good for the gym junkie, back packer or world traveler on your shopping list. https://www.amazon.com/GoToob-Silicone-Travel-Bottle-Locking/dp/B079317P47/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=gotoob+3.4oz&psc=1&qid=1572747729&sprefix=gotoob&sr=8-3
  16. Looking forward to another great year of conversation.
  17. That’s great that it has the option to view prior conversations! Thanks for pointing that out or I never would have known. Glad I won’t have to completely miss out if I’m not available during the original date/time.
  18. I’m sorry that she’s changing things up on you, that sucks. I hate it when I feel like I have a good BF system down and then a monkey wrench gets thrown into the gears (though my problem has generally been caused by the stores new hours more than anything else). I don’t go out shopping in store until Friday morning so I’ve had to do some shopping online on Thursday for must haves that I’m worried will run out. Online shopping isn’t the same, but honestly so long as the websites don’t crash I’ve had decent luck getting what I’ve wanted online. My only advice about online is be patient and keep checking back as things will fluctuate and go in and out and back in stock throughout the day. Fingers crossed that you’ll have a good online experience!
  19. Kohl’s Target Home Depot or Joanns (very opposite ends of the spectrum but I love them both)
  20. I’m holding off on making my Kohl’s purchases until the week of Black Friday. I need to go to the store before I make my decisions/list this year. I’m going to get new underthings (can’t beat 50% off, and then coupons and Kohl’s cash) but due to weight loss I need to go try things on to figure out what fits. I also want to get some towels this year and I like to see what they feel like in store before buying them. Some towels these days are so thin!
  21. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06ZZNF7GS/ref=cm_cr_othr_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8#cm_cr_carousel_images_section For the aspiring artist in the family. Colored pencils the are soft tipped and able to blend. Would go great with an adult coloring book.
  22. A collapsible water bottle for the person on the go. Would be great for your gym bag or traveling. https://www.amazon.com/Kemier-Collapsible-Silicone-Bottles-750ML-Approved-Can/dp/B01LWWG5W8/ref=sxin_4_ac_m_pm?ac_md=1-0-VW5kZXIgJDIw-ac_d_pm&keywords=colapsable+water+bottles+for+travel&pd_rd_i=B01LWWG5W8&pd_rd_r=58aac389-52bc-4841-8423-1d0410104acc&pd_rd_w=Q39AB&pd_rd_wg=4DITd&pf_rd_p=808372f4-ce06-4458-88ef-16b605aa053a&pf_rd_r=N1PSJ9VHF7K8WVYYSSH6&psc=1&qid=1572576619&sprefix=colapsable+water+bottle#aw-udpv3-customer-reviews_feature_div EDIT: anglebabymommy and I apparently are on the same wave length! I swear I didn’t see your post before I wrote mine.
  23. Kohl’s and target are probably the 2 big ads that I look forward to every year. I really need Kohl’s to drop before I go on vacation so I can enjoy the excitement and conversations on here! I NEED my BF fix!
  24. I would also love a sugar cookie recipe that can be used with my cookie press! Hopefully someone on here will be able to help us[emoji106]
  25. Don’t worry yet, there’s still plenty of time. I’m sure Brad has more fun contests for us coming up.
