  1. I'm so glad I get payed the day before thanksgiving! However I wont get paid again till Christmas eve, so I must be careful. Getting paid once a month not so fun.
  2. First my parents can't go out on Black Friday, they are both handicapped and can't be up that long, so I end up taking my mom's list and money and doing her shopping and my shopping. 1: My mom plans on spending $500-$800, and I plan on spending no more than $300. 2: Last year I hit seven stores, and this year should be about the same. 3: I plan on being about the same as last year, maybe a little less, my mom may end up doing a bit more.

    Older kids

At that age my mom made me give her a wish list. She told me I would end up being given socks and underwear, if I didn't.
  4. My parents bought a fake tree the year I was born, they didn't want to have to deal with taking care of a tree while taking care of a young baby. We had that tree til I was sixteen. I've use artificial trees my whole life and I probably always will. They have become a lot easier to set up, and take down. Plus you don't have to buy a new one every year. I don't use a prelit tree cause I like to change my lights based on my theme that year, and I don't like the look of fiber optic.

    Christmas Cookies

Two favorites that I make are my candy cane cookies, and my cinnamon sugar cookies. With the Cinnamon sugar cookies all you do is make a batch of sugar cookies as normal then right after they come out sprinkle them with cinnamon sugar. They are wonderful when served with hot apple cider. For the Candy Cane cookies all you need is the following... A batch or two of sugar cookie dough, Peppermint extract, Red food coloring, (I use Wiltons food coloring) & white food coloring. (Optional, but they do look better with it) Split your dough in half, to one half and the white food coloring cover and chill. To the other half and a small amount of peppermint extract (1/2tsp for half a batch is a good place to start), & the red food coloring and chill. Once the dough is chilled roll into logs then twist one red and one white together and shape like a candy cane. Cook and your done.
  6. Personally as someone who has had iPod touch(s) since they came out (pre-iPhone), wireless speakers are the way to go! Most cases don't work with docking stations and long term if it is not handled with great care plugging in and unplugging it will cause damage to the phone.
