Yarn, yarn and more yarn that I may have to grab up!!!!
-
I'm sure... it was $20 so yeah it would probably cost more to send me a new one and send me a shipping label to send the damaged one back...
-
I forgot about the poinsettias I get every year!!!! I just saw that the price has increased to 2/$3 this year at Lowe's... still not bad, but I'm use to the $0.50 price...

Well, I won't say anything negative about the Bills as we've been playing good the past couple years... but from previous years, you know how we played

Sooo I purchased the Pioneer Woman bake set for $20... it was delivered yesterday and before I even opened it I could tell something was broken... sure enough, the baking dish was broke in several places on one end, but the candle I also bought was intact (it had a fragile sticker on it)... I immediately started a return online for a replacement, selected to drop off the package at USPS/Fed Ex... went to the next page and it said no need to return it. Your new item is on its way. You can keep, donate or discard the original item

I hope so, they're playing my Bills

Oh nooooooo!!!! not airport cuisine, lol...

Every year I compare prices at Lowes and Home Depot for special pack batteries and poinsettia… not sure which store I’ll be buying them from this year… guess I’ll have to wait for Home Depot’s ad to make that decision…

Buffalo... was supposed to visit my mom in Jacksonville, NC this year as a surprise... her b-day falls on Thanksgiving this year but those flights are outrageous... I was able to see her in August so I'm good for now...

I feel like I never have enough lashes (my own are scarce, lol) so I may have to grab dome of those at 40% off...

Congrats winners!!

I'm traditional when it comes to Thanksgiving Dinner so I don't really change up the menu too much ... I also go to relatives for potluck every year (yes, I still cook my own dinner), not sure what is on that menu, but I'm sure a turkey is involved... this year a request was made for my spaghetti salad (as an appetizer), sweet potato pie and apple crisp so that's what I'll be taking... Here's my tentative menu for home, some things I'm still questioning if I'll feel like doing: Roasted Turkey Dressing Baked macaroni and cheese Sweet Potato casserole - two different kinds Collard Greens Potato Salad?? (may take this off the menu this year depending on how I feel) Rice Cranberry sauce - homemade and the canned kind Hot water cornbread?? Jiffy cornbread Hawaiian sweet rolls Sweet potato pies - 5 total Apple crisps - 3 total Coconut Pound Cake?? Ice Cream

I said just one/two cute ones this year... I still have several from last year that are still in the packages

With so many stores doing weekly or pre-BF sales I'm not surprised that the big ads we usually see by now are not out... I don't like it, but the reality is retailers want to drive sales on as many items as they can (to get you into the store or onto the website) before they give "deeper discounts"... Let's be honest, most people are out and about and would go back to one sale on actual BF into the weekend and then Cyber Monday. Target, for one, is busy every weekend and maybe they don't want to go back to the overwhelming crowds they had pre-Covid so they keep the weekly sales going...

I briefly looked at the add, but might stop in for some yarn...

There are a few items I may have to get from here...

Hopefully they'll have something I want...

Kitchenaids are powerhouse mixers!!!! And yes, they look nice sitting out in display with all the different color choices they have… I finally bought one about 10 years ago… my mom has two… I love it!!!! It’s very heavy so moving it a lot is not ideal… I don’t use it often but I am glad that I have it when I do use it because mixing a cake, cookies or whatever is a breeze… Now convince me to by a portable kitchen island… I don’t have a lot of counter space and would like a permanent place to sit my kitchenaid mixer (and other items)…

Wow, talk about blast from the past...so many great deals... I have two picks, the Nintendo DS for $136 and the Kitchenaid Mixer for $130...
-
I was able to order the few items I wanted and they arrived yesterday... waiting for round #2...
-
No Meijer in my area, but I am not opposed to making an online purchase... especially for the OXO special buy because those are not cheap... there are a few other items I could go for as well...

Wellllll, lol... Saturday I picked up a Pikachu toy for the grand from Target using the 25% off one toy/book and my 10% employee discount ($39.99 originally so after discounts paid about $30) so that was my biggest purchase this season thus far... that's about it so far...
-
$5 toaster for the office and maybe the Starbucks GC, however, you have to buy 2 to get the $10 off…
-
Out of all the items in the ad, the Land O Lakes butter is what really caught my price... $4.49 is definitely a great price (plus my 10% discount makes it $4.04) and I'll have to stock up...

I don't like the rebates so I usually just glance over those items... I won't be getting as many Big One throws this year, maybe keeping it to 3/4 this year... and the candles 3/$20 (plus the coupon) is a good deal so I always stock up on those... other than that I don't see much I want/need...
