Yes!!!! I absolutely bought the wrapping paper every year...I'd come home w/ six rolls of wrapping paper and my son would be like "Mom, more wrapping paper? You don't need anymore wrapping paper" I didn't get any last year as they had the same wrapping paper from previous years and I still had some of those left over, lol...My wrapping paper storage container is over stuffed and I can't fit another roll in it, but I that has never stopped me before... So I will be looking at wrapping paper again this year...

I forgot about being first in line @ Walgreen's...There usually isn't many people shopping @ Walgreen's for BF anyway so it's not hard to be first...they always have good deals on batteries, Arm and Hammer laundry detergent and wrapping paper...

TJ Maxx/Marshall's don't do anything special for BF...probably because their prices are already discounted lower than department stores...

I will be looking for good deals on books and anything on my kids Christmas lists...since I have prime I will check Amazon to see if I can get it cheaper...

I have wanted a Kitchenaid Mixer for years and every year I tell myself I am going to get one...I still haven't purchased one and i don't think this will be the year either...sigh...

I live in Western NY and it was absolutely beautiful last TG, I went shopping in my GD hoodie and wanted to take it off in the store as it was way too hot, but I only had on a skimpy tank under it....hoping for the same this year as we are still having 70 degree weather in October here in Buffalo...but it is Buffalo so that could all change by tomorrow...lol...one can always hope...

Kmart is a crap-shoot...every year there is a big ticket item that is advertised that didn't come in...of course they know what they will be selling for BF well in advance so I am not sure why they go through this every year, but they are one of the most frustrating stores to shop @ during BF...

I was first in line about 4-5 years ago @ Kmart...I can't remember exactly what I was getting as I always go to Kmart, but I'm sure it was something electronic for one of my kids...It was cold as I live in Buffalo, so it usually is that time of morning in November, but I was layered up of course!!!!

I always carry cash as well as my cards...there is usually @ least one crash where the registers go down and cash comes in handy...

It hasn't ruined it for me that they are open on TG, my kids are older and my youngest is 16...he has already informed me that he will be with his older brother and his girlfriend's family for TG... Not sure yet if my daughter will be having dinner with me, but a small portion of my fam does a pot-luck TG dinner which is usually fun...I still get my family time, but afterwards I need to burn off all those calories I consumed and walking around Wally World for a couple hours does the trick for me...lol...I agree the sales aren't as big as they used to be, but the excitement is still there for me!!!!

Yup, they stopped price matching in my local Walmart!!!!

Yeah, I will probably shop jewelry last because they are holding back on lowering the prices...I believe they will lower whatever is left to match BF ad prices come BF...it will be interesting to see how much they lower prices after BF since they will be closing their doors on Dec. 11...

I feel the same...I only purchase something if it's like the last one and I am not sure if I will get a better deal...I am still holding out on a TMNT 12" bike for my God son as it is only $20 off (original $79.99) and they had about 8-9 still...
