I was on QVC over the weekend and saw several Fitbit models on easy pay so unless I can find the same or close to the same ones during BF at a lower price I may still get one from QVC...

My budget has to cover about 15 people...

My son turned 18 end of July, he's 6'3" and just told me the other day he grew taller...hopefully,your son should be just about done growing since he has reached 23 already...Unfortunately, my son has 5 years to go

Not sure about the hot toys this year, but for me I think it will have to be a mix of browsing Wal Mart and Target (and maybe even Marshall's/TJMaxx) this year...of course none of these will compare to the large selection of items TRU carried, but it will have to do...

I wasn't able to do a Christmas Club account this year

My youngest just graduated this past June so I know all too well about senior year and all the money that adds up quickly...what was suggested to me by some guys that I work with was that if my son has a job to make him pay for some or all of the "extras" like prom, senior dues, senior trip etc... this is only a suggestion, but it takes some of the burden off of you as well as helps him to work for something he wants...

I think there are some "experts" on here who may have to let us know the inside secrets...

Absolutely agree with all of this, lol...I have been ordering Christmas gifts from QVC since my kids were younger...have no plans to order anything this year, but I'm sure I will see a TSV or something I just "need"...

OK, so I think I may enroll in swagbucks myself...

It's about 64 here, BF is definitely on the way... not sure how mild it will be this year, but the past two BF the weather has been so good to us shoppers...

I looked on QVC to see if they had it, and they do...on 4 easy payments, may have to order this for my daughter so she can stop borrowing my luggage...

Ummmmm, this has been a rough year for me so I've decided to take on a seasonal position just to pay down some of my bills, so I am not sure what my budget will be as of now ...all of my kids are grown so they will feel blessed to receive anything...my grandson just turned one so he's not looking forward to anything ...i don't foresee purchasing big ticket items this year, no game systems for the first time in years

We still have a couple of Kmarts and JCP is still going, just not sure how much longer with will last here...JCP is usually busy, but IDK how their sales have been and if they are on their last leg...

Absolutely!!!! I usually don't receive many gifts from my kids...so it's so appreciated when one of them thinks of me, even something as "small" as pajamas (as usual I bought my jammies, but didnt wear them until after Christmas)...it's the little things with me...

Mine is making Thanksgiving dinner for home on Thanksgiving Eve (yup, that's what I call it), going to morning service at church on Thanksgiving and then to my Aunt's for potluck, and of course all the BF shopping...as for Christmas Eve, we are usually at my Aunt's again for potluck of finger/junk foods as well as games...I always sit and watch It's a Wonderful Life with my cousin before heading home...usually I'm still up wrapping presents, but it wasn't as bad last year as I had started early, and because I like waiting to put the majority of the gifts under the tree on Christmas Eve I'm always up until the last child has fallen asleep, yes, even thought they are grown now...we open one gift, always our new pajamas and my daughter surprised me last year by purchasing new pajamas for me to open (as I always purchase my own and wrap them for myself )...
