I thought the same thing...i can remember it opening at like 5 or 6 and then just till 10 or 11. It was a really shorty thing cause my family complained it was for all the early risers that have dinner at 2pm LOL

Also some stores have the policy an item has to be re-shelved before it can be bought.

I think alot of what I am seeing is that the "big" items arent there(for the most part) sale wise. But the little add on mid range gifts are. The $10 CPK, $5 Care Bear, 7.99$ games The gifts that you buy to match up and make spending even LOL Least that is how it is turning out for me. The only "big" item I want is the GBA but wouldnt care if i got it at Kmart for 70$ w/ the games or Walmart for 48 without them so at least I have 2 "chances"

Someone has to get those 12 LOL So it isnt hopeless :)

yep we are happy with our $19.99 walmart special too and we watch a monkeyload of movies on it

We have our PS2. We love it and have always had great customer support through them. Its been a long time since I owned a nintendo product but can remember some choice words over a SNES once LOL. I am sure improvments were mad since then. We enjoy the games available but there is a lacking of multiplayer games for it so if it is to be a shared gift the systems that offer the more "save the princess" style with 2p option maybe better for you.

I think most people didnt want to do the AOL sign up. I know I dont so it makes the prices really jump up without that deal applied. Same with the rebates. Most people will be ok with alot of rebates if it makes an item free but the sheer quanity that Cusa dealt out was boggling

to the walmart workers and such....Is there a better time to call? I have tried calling the one we will be at twice both times the manager on duty is not available. We will go the wed. before to scout out layout and talk to someone AGAIN but would like to know before then.

gotta say make sure your kids name is there....I know that seems obvious but as much as Gpa *thinks* its such a great toy the fact that it DOESNT say her name makes it not that great LOL Yes we have an odd name but just had to post something cause I am still rolling my eyes after the argument with Gpa about this one LOL

DD is 4 and while she voiced wanting everything in the toy book the first go through i think LOL After I told her ok lets start writing She decided maybe that was to much to fit in Santas sleigh LOL So she worked on her printing/writing skills and it kept the list happily in check and she just picked things she really wanted LOL We have to watch as well since she is an only child/grandchild so spoiling is a fear more for the reason that she has a feb Bday and if one set of grandparents goes crazy at christmas it makes the shopping for everyone else that much harder come bday time. I photocopied her santa letter this year and sent it to the grandparents. They are all picking an item from it and then will fill in with toys they choose. once the grandparents are done DH and I will choose from whats left to be Santa gifts and gifts from us. So she listed i think 10 things and will probably end up with most of them but divided among us, Santa, grandpa and (my stepmom), grandma in OK, grandma in Pa and GGma and GGpa. So 6 sets of "buyers" makes it easy.
