Has anyone had any luck with using their "referal" credits? I have had 2 people sign up and use the program. I got emails w/ my 2 cretificate codes(10$ each). Well you can not combine certificates(my 2 cant be $20) and its for the price of the gift certificate NOT the price you normally pay (i.e. if it is a 25$ certificate for 10$ you have to pay the 25$ not the 10$) Since there are none in my area for 10$ the referal thing is trash to me. Now it is still a good service but whats the point of offering the incentive? I have emailed the customer support twice and never even had a reply...

yep thats how they have always worked for me :) Trying a new restaurant today since I found them on that site :) Cheap food and a new place! WHOO HOO

Was told they dont do returns money orders or postal transactions after 10pm when i went back this morning to exchange the item. You would think then since they dont have to man the CS desk at night that would mean more people to work during the day and yet there is still just one person back there. We stood in line for like 45mins. i was so happy w/ Walmart after BF the one we went to in cleveland was fast well planned and a good experience....i then come home to mine and think maybe they got better...NOPE...Every year I get suckered into thinking How bad can they be and yet they are always that bad LOL Sorry for the thread Jack!

well my earlier No problem at wlamrt needs to be amended Went to return a dupe movie my daughter got she knew what she wanted the greeter chickie tagged me and all when we got in there was told by the girl behind the CS counter that "We dont have customer service at night" If i wasnt so ticked it woulda mad me laugh

bought one and it works great DD loves it to pieces! was worrid she wouldnt be able to use it and she took it right up :) Walmart may be claiming to be more strict on returns but i would think if its defective they will change it out no trouble. If not i was looking at nintendo last night and they do have a warranty so they may be able to help you out as well if walmart is a butt

We dont put ours up up until the first weekend in Dec(at earliest) and it would typically come down New years eve. Since we have a munchkin we dont go out on New Years eve so we started taking it down then while we watch whatever hokey marathon thats on. This year my mom wasnt able to come out for christmas but will be here on the 7th so it will stay up till then. Thats more to do w/ her saying she would take it all down if I was willing to leave it up that long LOL

we have snow on the ground but they are calling for rain on the 24th and 25th so it will probably be a "Slush Christmas" O Joy

i sent a package in the mail using the 2liter bottle. Not sure how it would be for a gift card though

a friend of mine just gave a white elephant gift of a gift card in a plastic bag frozen in a block of ice LOL Sounds way messier then i would do but probably funny as heck

our cat could care less about the tree...batting an ornament would be so beaneath her plus it would require movement from the perch LOL Now the dogs on the other hand....The phrase "no happy tails by the tree" is getting a work out here I am in the same boat as others up there^ What i have done is more about picking up then rearranging...

we used one just fine right before thanksgiving. biggest issue I have is very few are local to me so we can only use when traveling but still makes for a GREAT deal when we can use them

Yep all our pets get presents. They get a stocking and then a few under the tree items. probably 10-15$ each hee Hee so glad to meet more pet birthday celebrators! We also do adoption day parties on the day they came to live w/ us

Same here. Dh wants the PS3 but knows its better to wait. Once the insane push is over they will have better bundles/deals on them anyway. I hardly say this is Sonys fault. They may have been the ones to start it but they were not the ones that made it common and acceptable. That would be the people that are willing to pay some shmo 700$ for a presale ticket and the Shmo selling it. Buying into the have to have it the millasecond it comes out price be da3ned to me is the real culprit

if some consider it tacky i wonder if those people have kids? My daughter was in awe of the pictures and I could only imgine the look of wonder she would have in person LOL I think its a neat thing to do and I am sure the kids of the neighborhood look forward to seeing it every year.
