I think the new Fly Pen is really cool, a little bit pricey though. Some kind of computer pen. It would probably help my daughter with her math. Of course it is from the great Leap Frog company. FLY PEN

I have always gone alone except for last year. I prefer to be alone. I was worried about getting seperated. Also I would have shopped longer if I had been alone.

I usually drive back home to drop off stuff and by then hubby decides he would like to go back out with me to get more deals

I admit my car is a mess.....lol.....but there is nothing in there from a year ago.... :)

immediate family only for me, I have way too many family members to buy individual gifts

Wow you are organized!!!!! I take my ads but usually keep them under my jacket so that people in line dont ask to borrow them

I usually just head home for leftover turkey, this year I think I am hitting Cracker Barrel yummmmmm!

My hubby and kids think it is cool, they would because we have computers in almost every room of the house because of BF The rest of my family think I am really nutso. They would really think that if they knew what time I was headed to Best Buy this year lol

Wow, I may have to try KOHLS this year. It has become one of our favorite stores this year, mostly for the clearance items though.

I go to BB every year and I love the way they do the tickets. I wish all stores did that, I might then be tempted to try another store. The only issue I have with BB is that they let so many people in. Wish they only let a portion of the line in and then let more people in as people came out.

Hi, another Arizonan here :D I am in Casa Grande and usually drive up and hit the Ray Rd area, especially Best Buy. If I hit BB this year you can bet I will be there at probably 9:00 the night before.

Yesterday I noticed our WM had a lot of TVs, vacuums, cabbage patch (lots), Garth Brooks. Probably more stuff but I wasnt looking for it, I just noticed this stuff on pallets and end caps.

I am really liking the idea of the chairs. I wish the WM managers would come to this site and read suggestions. You would think that the managers really wouldn't want violence and injuries.

The BB Emachine We got there at midnight and there was already 100 people there. We stayed to take our chances which we shouldn't have done. After sitting there for 5 hours in the cold we were bummed and drove home. Skipped everything.

I usually try to be at Best Buy by 2:00 AM. I may go even earlier this year because, what the heck I am awake anyways :)

I will have to say that this was one of my better black fridays I think. Last year I went to BB at about 2:00 and was about number 8 in line. this year I went to BB at 1:30 and was about 25 in line. There were people who had been there since 10:00 the night before. I was kind of bummed about that. I wanted the emachine and I had a friend with me who wanted the emachine also and since they only had 'minimum 20 per store' we were worried that we may be out of luck. Luckily a man who got there after us walked through the line to do a survey on what everyone was buying and we found out we were number 9 and 10 on the emachine list. So even though this is Arizona we sat in our lawn chairs and shivered for 4 1/2 hours, taking turns and driving to a bathroom..lol. When the door opened at 6:00 there was no shoving, everyone walked in orderly. My friend and I whipped over to the computer line quickly and ended up about number 4 in line. We got out of the store at 6:25. I then took my friend home and grabbed my family and we went to Fry's Electronics, may I say wow. We found some of what we wanted at fry's but that check out lane was the longest I have ever seen, there was at least 300 inline to check out, only about an hour in line though because they work very fast. I will have to say I was very happy that there were no bitter people or shovers this year. On the emachine issue I am very pleased with my purchase again this year, this is my fourth emachine. I was surprised to see that the floppy drive was changed to a card reader. I am also surprised that they do not have an agp slot. On the thought of all the crazy people getting there the night before, I think I might be tempted depending on my purchase. I figure I am saving about 400.00 on my new computer. If I get in line at 10:00 the night before that is about 6 hours in line, roughly 65.00 an hour, I think that is worth it. Now if I was just standing in line for a dvd or something, forget it...lol.

I am planning on buying one again this year. It will be my third year in a row. Last year I payed closer to 250.00 after rebates without the monitor so this year is the best deal yet. Yes they come with windows xp. for family use we are perfectly happy with them. We play all kinds of games on them with no problem. Any time I have had a question and have had to call the emachine company I have been happy with the phone service. 400.00 in rebates is quite a bit but I pay with my credit card and put the refunds on the credit card as soon as it gets in (you have to be determined and not waver from your plan when you do this).

I think BB has the longest lines I have ever seen. I am always at the front so that doesnt bother me too much. But the register line is horrendous, this year I am taking a book with me.

I can't wait for Micheal's and Joann's. They have some awesome deals and they are right next to my Best Buy

I have bought a computer there the last two years and I am planning on buying another one this year. I usually plan on being there by 2:00 because I really like being in the front of the pack. The BB I go to gives out tickets for quite a few things so you will probably get a ticket for both items. The bad thing is that even once you get into that door you will still have long lines to deal with. I zoom in as fast as I can to get in that computer line fast because it gets really long and it is slow. It is a really good idea to take someone with you to go get the camcorder and then go get into the checkout line. At my BB I always get to pay for the computer right at pick up so I do not have to go to the check out lanes for that. With luck by the time you pay for your computer the person you sent for the camcorder should be done too. If you go by yourself you would still get the camcorder after getting the computer because you have a ticket but the checkout line could be incredibly long. Lol... when I look back and read my post it almost seems incoherant (sp?) I think it is the excitement of BF being so close now

Lol my hubby is tring to convince me he needs one of those, I am not convinced. I wouldnt want much, just a bigger home with a white picket fence and a maid
