If business doesnt pick up for me I wont get to do any shopping, I'll just be people watching

I saw something I thought was funny last year. Some people brought this little grill thingie that was low to the ground and they gathered around and burned a log to keep warm. I am glad I wasnt very close to them in line because I would have been upset about the smoke. When the store opened and the line moved they just left it there.

My hubby gets up and gets the paper about 4:30-5:00 am for that very reason. And since we will fight over it he buys one for himself and one for me

I price match my groceries on a weekly basis at my local WM and I have noticed over the last month that they have gotten really picky. They always have the ads right beside them to look at even though I have the ads with everything circled. And they have argued and disagreed with me on some things. One of these days I am going to let them ring up my $200 of groceries and when they argue with me I will walk away and tell them to keep it all I am hoping this new strictness doesnt overflow onto BF. I have no time to argue on that day

My WM varies from year to year. Guess it depends which manager is in charge that year

I never have hit the smaller stores, it all depends on who has what I want

Oh I love the people watching. I love the stunned look on the faces of people who get there that last hour before the store opens...lol. I also love watching those people who think they are going to crowd in and merge into the line at opening time...lol...not gonna happen

I think my best deals have always been the BB computer every year (except for last year) Last one was 2 years ago for $199.00 The computers work fine for my families needs

It all depends on the store you are going to, last year at the BB I go to the line was already very long at 2 am. I will probably be an overnighter this time

I usually only get to stay out til 11 or 10 am. my hubby starts calling and whining about when am I coming home

My hubby always goes to Kmart for me while I stay home and cook. Last year our Kmart was being remodeled so he had to drive over an hour to get to another one. Just for a few game boy games LOL

I never thought of trying the outlets. I have one about a 15 minute drive from my home. It is pretty touristy though, I wouldnt think they would lower their prices for the day.

I noticed this weekend that my local WM toy department was also in really good shape. Shelves are loaded and there seems to even be a couple extra rows of toys.

I love alllllll Christmas Music. One of our radio stations changes to strictly Christmas Music for that month and I love it.

I like my tree to have an old fashioned victorian type 'feel' to it. I have a lot of homemade and hand painted stuff I have made, and a lot of lacey looking stuff. I also like my home to have a lot of deep red and green colors going on

I have my kids start making a wish list as soon as we start seeing toy ads in the paper. Problem is, they want it all!! LOL, not gonna happen!

that is an extremely good idea I will be using the paper that I got on sale about 5 years ago...lol.... One of my local grocery stores had it on clearance for about .10 per roll. You can bet I bought a heck of a lot of it.

Uggh, just bought an expensive new washer, never thought of trying to wait til BF for a deal. It is good to know the opinions of the washers too. THX guys. A day late and a dollar short for me though I bought a front loader Fridgidaire, which I actually love at the moment. Cut my water bill in half.
