I agree with the above. Check out verizonwireless.com first, then if you still want the one from Walmart call verizon and ask if you have to pay an activation fee if you buy the phone from somewhere else other than verizon. I don't think you do but I'm not 100% sure. But you will have to renew your contract with them.

My son got one (the udraw) last year for Christmas and hardly plays with it. I don't think there is a difference between the colors.

ok, here is the scoop with the ipad warranty. I called squaretrade this morning and they told me that you can not purchase the squaretrade warranty that is listed on amazon.com if you did not purchase the product from there. However, you can go to squaretrade.com and purchase the warranty there (not sure what the difference is but...) it is the same price as what is listed on amazon and they have a specific warranty for the ipad.

After i posted yesterday, I was reading the squaretrade details and it said for amazon purchases only, if you bought your item somewhere else please call and it gave an 800 number. I believe I saw it said something about Mon-Fri. so I will call them Monday morning to see if I can use it since I didn't purchase it from amazon. If amazon had had it on sale like other places I would have gotten it from there.

Cool thanks! I thought that you could only get the squaretrade warranty for amazon products. Now I know differently. I know about the deductible and the possibility of your insurance going up if you file a claim.

I ordered 2 ipads, one from Apple and included the Applecare plan. The other I ordered from walmart and added the 2 year spills, break, and something or another plan. My question is... Has anyone ever had to use the protection plan at Walmart? I ordered the one at apple.com without reading what exactly the applecare plan included. When I went back later to read it I noticed that it didn't say anything about spills, dropping it, etc... Seemed like it was more of a technical support type plan. I ordered the one from Walmart while marked down and added their plan and figured I would just return the one from Apple. I did read some where on the internet that if something happens to your ipad you could file a claim under your homeowners policy! That is something that I really do not want to do. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance and sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, I wasn't sure where to post it.

Last night when I got it the code was in my email within 2 minutes. No email yet...

with the itunes flub up do they invalidate the code that you were sent? I haven't gotten an email... yet... but I have already redeemed the code. I think since it was their mess up then we should get it for the price we paid for it!

They sold out of the ipad that I wanted, didn't think it was going to be a super hot item. I did get the 24in TV and the $100 itunes card for $60. though after being on here from around 11pm-ish till the tv went live at 6am-ish eastern time. Unless I can find it somewhere else for the same sale price as here I will be visiting the apple website tomorrow.
