craziest thing, hmm. I don't think its crazy, but the weirdest thing in our walmart is the absolute silence at 11:59:59. you would think the store is empty! the tear of the plastic is all you hear, nobody says a word then its a deafening roar of Whoohoos! its just creepy.

thats the last one I am waiting on! I *think* they will have a deal on the psp this year as I was in store the other day and asking to see one, and the employees were unsure if they could take them out of the back room early to show me specs and all that.... LOL!

my mother (whom currently works there) has told me, "we don't do black friday anymore, we don't have sales." she even has BF OFF! although she could be pulling my leg, but i don't think so.

I am assuming you moved down south somewhere... Yeah, it must suck not having to go shopping/driving in a snowsuit! LMAO! just remember icy roads, sub zero temps, the idiots on the icy roads, snow, did i forget snow? grab 50 large bags of ice and toss them in your driveway and drive over them a few times, you'll be happy to miss it!!! shopping in shorts, oh I can't WAIT for the day!!!!!!

black friday rule #1... your already doing it! Be prepared and know what your getting into. Rule #2... be Nice! patience and kindness isn't everyones rule, but it is mine. do everything with a smile, and if you have the opportunity to help someone out, do so. make friends. *my mom laughs at me and says "this is the one day a year your kind of people get together isn't it". Its a national holiday for rule #3! Rule #3...Have fun with it, everyone else shopping is just as nuts as you are! just pretend its a concert and you'll have a great time! Rule#4 if you get it... GREAT! GOOD JOB!! if not, its only stuff. don't put yourself in harms way. keep an eye on your stuff and those around you. rule #5 put your money in at least three SECURE places on your person. its easy to get ripped off in a crush of people. rule#6 if your too tired, GO HOME! shop on line. if possible shop on line while IN line. anything else i missed?

hold on let me ask management... Well, they will be having a black friday sale, and a thanksgiving ad, just will be sticking to REGULAR hours! 5 am thanksgiving day 6 am black friday, they will be "targeting" (pardon the pun) the second wave shoppers and those that love popcorn tins!

ok guys i need you unbelievable genius! My mom wants to buy a "personal gps" (????) for my step dad. As she explained to me ... she doesn't care about driving options. she wants something for when he is hunting in the woods so that he doesn't get lost. Oh yeah, and she isn't BF shopping, I am doing it "for" her, and so I don't screw up anybody care to explain what i need to look for. This is the lady that bought 6 vaccume cleaners, and 5 food processors and returned everyone of them because she "didn't like them" and I havn't bought her a "good gift" in 10 years. HELP ME! it depends on the location, some will get 20 of one item and another store 10 miles away will get 5. it varries item to item also. expect small quantities of the big ticket items, and a bunch of toasters ect. they will have less of the "loss leader items" and more of the items that they don't loose oney on. make cents? (bad joke)
