Best memory was a couple of years ago when my now 16 DS decided to come out with me. He wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Needless to say, he hasn't wanted to come back. [emoji20] I can't say I've had any bad memories. Just that BF was much more crowed years ago when stores wouldn't open in 5am. Now when I go at that time, there are no lines and it's less crowded than a regular Saturday. I do like a little crowd to add to the excitement.

They will just jack up the price and then slap the sticker on. They aren't dumb. They know if people *think* they are getting a discount, they will buy.

Practical items...deodorant, Chapstick, razors. Then of course some gum/candy and scratch tickets.

A Friday night or Sunday night would be good. Any night but Sat is best for me.

Got my first pre-ordered gift in the mail yesterday. So I got 1 so far. Usually I'm better but I haven't seen the things I want on sale yet [emoji53]

How will you pay for BF gifts and beyond. I have given myself an all cash goal this BF. I usually just charge it up but then I tend to impulse by for myself. I figure if I go in with my lists and cash I won't go too over budget. What's your plan?

Yay there are more of us than I expected!

I keep a running list all year. If DH or sons see anything through the year, I add it to the list. Makes shopping a breeze since I don't have to sit down and come up with stuff...lol. Anyway, DS16 #1 (and only gift) is asking for the apple watch. I'm sure I'll add in some socks and underwear for good measure.

Those chomping at the bit waiting for a glimpse of BF or a good sale to start shopping.

I believe Brad had the Ad awhile ago. It was a lawyer from the legal team at HD that forbid the posting. I agree with everyone else. By now, my planning and lists are done. I will be going to Lowes...not HD. Two can play their game.
