  1. I have 3 gifts left to get. Usually I'm done with everything by the first-second week of December. It's not like I'm not going out shopping its just that I keep finding great deals for myself and forget who I'm to get a gift for. LOL
  2. Thanks to my Secret Santa. I love everything. Especially the Chicago bag since that's my hometown. I don't know why my photos posted sideways, anyhoo I still love it!
  3. I was able to get my SS gift mailed out today. Super excited about that since I waited so long for the items to arrive.
  4. Happy December everyone. It's been a beautiful weekend here in Texas with 77 degree weather. Unfortunately the cold front coming through the mid-west is going to bring some coldness this week. Dress accordingly wherever you are.
  5. Thanks Brad. I look forward to reading what's been going on with everyone throughout the year.
  6. Picking up the last of my items this weekend. Mailing off cards tomorrow. I love participating in Secret Santa and the card exchange with you guys.
  7. I'm ready.
  8. I like the tote bag idea. Easy to ship but carry lots of items.
  9. I've never had an issue with square trade.
  10. Best Buy shopping complete.
  11. I ordered my instant pot last night through early access. I'm glad I was able to snag it with the red card and earn a gift card.
  12. I can get my annual poinsettias from them now at 50 cents. That's awesome.
  13. I still use my gps for road trips.
  14. Yes, that's how I used to get my phone. It was well worth it.
  15. I was able to snag the last pair of airpods for $117. Who would've thought that would be the case at 7:15am.
  16. I have the nuwave air fryer and I love it. No need to defrost items. Fried chicken whether breaded or naked come out awesome and taste good. I've made fish, chicken, shrimp, meatballs and steak in mine. The family loves it, so I would recommend getting yourself one.
  17. We're looking to get our son a new cell phone for Christmas. We don't think spending $700+ on a Samsung Galaxy S9 is worth it. He mostly uses his phone for youtube, social media, texting and listening to music. Are there any good android alternatives out there that isn't trying to break the bank?
  18. I'll pick up the airpods for hubby.
  19. I see a bike for my son.
  20. Nothing really jumping out to me.
  21. No apology needed. Sometimes people take kindness for weakness. So that's when you just have to let them know,You are the King and Queen of YOUR castle.
  22. In addition to what others above have done we've done the following: Best Christmas socks or outfit contestThey loved when we do the gift exchange with the Right Family Christmas. You can google the story. One person reads the story and every time you hear right or left that's the way you pass the gift. Once the story is over, you open whatever gift is in your hand.Christmas Family Feud. Whichever team makes it to bonus round has first pick at gifts.
  23. We set a budget per child. As our kids have gotten older the number of gifts have gone down, since the dollar amount per item goes up. We usually get them each a big gift and from there they receive "needs" (shoes, pjs, clothes, funny socks, and books) and some stocking stuffers. Fortunately our kids are still excited about unwrapping the gifts that they never care about how many they've received.
  24. All I can say it set your expectations up front. Let everyone know what you will and won't tolerate. If they have a problem with it, let them know they're more than welcome to refuse your invitation. When you stand you're ground people can only respect you and know what to expect from you. I hope your Thanksgiving dinner goes well this year.
  25. I played around with different url's and finally found one that worked. Thanks.
