  1. Ok, made it for December. Now to set my alarm for each month.
  2. Online: Kohl's* (sheets, blanket, socks, underwear..woohoo!) Amazon (Kindle Fire for the kid, again) Old Navy (cozy socks for everyone) GameStop (B2 used games, get 1 free) Home Depot* (craft supplies) *ordered online, picked up in store B&M: Target x2 (last Sunday for Samsung phone and TV, Thurs night for blu ray player, movies, and Tums. Adulthood rocks!) Bath & Body Works (B3G3 + VIP tote) GameStop (browsing only, and helping DS8 fill out his Christmas list) Kohl's (Saturday to spend my KC, new Nike shoes for DS8)
  3. Posted this in the Nintendo thread, but DS 8 had $50 left from his birthday money, and wanted 3 Lego Switch games. I found that GameStop had buy 2 pre-owned, get one free. He still has $10 left over, so he's thrilled.
  4. DS (8) used the last of his birthday money to get 3 pre-owned Switch games. He is thrilled that he "saved" money with pre-owned.
  5. Ditto! December birthdays, unite! NYE is a rough b-day.
  6. So far, I've only gotten $15 from the BF sale, but I got $5 for picking up an order, plus I was refunded $30 from a damaged order. I'm stressing about spending $50. I don't wanna waste it!
  7. I'm in, I'm in!
  8. We've gone later in the day and have gotten the tote. You can also get it online, I believe.
  9. We just got one of these stores in our city. I may have to check it out.
  10. Sadly, Cricut and Michael's won't allow you to use coupons on their machines.
  11. I collect PEZ dispensers, and I'm sure there are Funko fans out there, so this is a good "cross-collection" piece: https://www.amazon.com/Funko-Pop-Pez-Elf-Buddy/dp/B07TWC8VTF/ref=pd_ybh_a_176?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=BM24T0RA0YYD2VZPW51N
  12. DS8's birthday was last week. He has great reading skills, but his attention span is next to nothing. He's been devouring these books, though. https://www.amazon.com/Bad-Guys-Box-Set-Books/dp/1338267221/ref=sr_1_2?crid=SXTVPBCSIDOA&keywords=bad+guys+book+series&qid=1572965196&sprefix=bad+guys%2Caps%2C189&sr=8-2
  13. The Explore Air 2 often goes on sale for 199. If we get the Joann's or Michael's ad soon and they aren't any lower, go ahead and get it now. However, one or the other will sometimes have bundles on BF. I love my Cricuts. I've had an Air for 4 years and got the Maker this summer. They're amazing!
  14. My wife is very accident prone. For example, she recently dislocated her pinky while getting into the van. I keep threatening to wrap her in bubble wrap. Seriously considering getting her this: https://www.amazon.com/Bristol-Novelty-AC570-Costume-Unisex-Adult/dp/B000QAXJ66/ref=pd_ybh_a_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=6B91A2QK11YTDRSN8EJS
  15. Between school holidays, weather-related closures, and illness, I don't think my son is EVER going to have a full week of school again! His last full week was the week of Jan 7. He's ill today, so maybe next week?? Happy Feb!
  16. Hope you're able to get home soon!
  17. I got a few things made over the weekend, getting ready for Christmas. The tree is up and decorated (courtesy of the 7 year old DS, so placement isn't great). Aside from a few little things, we're READY!
  18. I'm ready for 2019!
  19. I picked up an Echo Dot Kids' Edition and a couple packs of underwear for DS. With cash and coupons, it was down to about $50. I didn't buy much to earn cash, so didn't have much to spend!
  20. I'm ready!
  21. My dad always called them "dumb walkers". He's been gone 10 years, but we still use the term! Grocery shopping?? Um...why??
  22. We got a few things. My wife popped into Home Depot shortly after opening to grab one thing. Lowe's, we did online with in-store pickup (batteries and wire shelving). At Micheal's, we got a few wreath-making supplies and a couple of organizers for my craft vinyl. We tried Lane Bryant, but didn't find what we wanted. We also hit Bath & Body Works for our annual stock-up and ducked into The Children's Place for $4.95 fleece separates. Lastly, we hit Target for cheap movies and a couple of games for our son. With the exception of HD, we did all the shopping and dropped everything off in 4 hours. Since we weren't going for big ticket items, we did pretty well. The worst checkout was a tossup between Michael's and Bath & Body Works. Otherwise, we were able to get in and get out everywhere. We've discovered which is the "better" Target for BF, which was a nice bonus. We will remember that for next year. Our normal Target had a lot of "dumb walkers".
  23. We did our order online for batteries and a shelf. Was a quick process.
  24. So for those who are debating the soft throws from Kohl's...WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? I ordered last night, my wife picked up today. They are currently out of the Navy Geo and Blue Plaid, but we still bought 7 throws. Our DS (7) grabbed his red buff check and took off with it trailing behind him. DW and I unwrapped ours and started using them. She proclaimed them the best ever, because while they are lightweight, they are also warm and cozy. I'm trying to talk her into more. Some of the ones we got will be in the van for DS and any guests he has with him. Don't walk...RUN!
