I agree. It's not the same. You really would like your kids to have presents to open on Christmas day but you have to ship early to get them to arrive before Christmas so they get opened before that. You wonder if they have any presents on Christmas day or even a tree. Sometimes you know they are working on Christmas day and helping to make others happier for Christmas. It's different when they grow up

I've found that it's easier to decorate less but still cheerful by getting a few potted Christmas cactus, poinsettias, and a small potted Christmas tree. It's still feels like Christmas but isn't as overwhelming as decorating and undecorating multiple small decorations. Just take the plants outside if you live in a warm area or in a sunny room .

I didn't notice poinsettias for $.99 or $1.99 on the Home Depot ad. I always go there to pick up a few to brighten the house....until I kill them (I have a hard time keeping them alive until Christmas).

I agree that a lot of the early sales were better than the Black Friday sales.

yeah and it's hard to tell if you're getting a really good deal or a store-or even that store- will have it cheaper the next week or so.

We have a Sephora. It takes up a good part of the store. I agree that if you like an item you best buy extra as soon as possible or they will not carry it any more. I used to shop there a lot but not so much now. I don't remember getting an email about credit card changes, but they all seem to be changing for the worse.
