  1. Same here. My store the jeans are still at 30%, I scanned them.
  2. How often do they cycle out and change the dollar spot? Every 2 months? I'm always in need of toddler stuff like board boards etc.
  3. Last year, my store had 100 people lined up. It snaked around the entire store and it took 1 hour to get through the line and it was like that for at least 3-4 hrs straight. Needless to say, I skipped it this year. I do think that they are ok wearable for $1. I'm certain that there were just as many people there this year as last year if not more.
  4. Oh no! I've been busy with family and didn't find out until tonight - In the past my store only does 75% off only 2 days so it will be salvaged by Monday morning. oh well, there is always next time. Thanks for posting the information everyone.
  5. Thanks so much Sarasuzymama for the details and photos. Dang - no toddler shoes are clearanced here. I saw those shoes last week and they were all regular price. I keep getting sizes messed up as well. DD has small feet like me and only a size 4, right now. How fast do their feet grow?
  6. Agreed. My stores' cashiers did not... and tried to tell me otherwise. Only haha to them - there's a sign posted (and a nice one too) on each register saying that they gladly accept one manuf cpn and one target cpn per item. Last time they tried denying me saying I could only use one or the other, I kept my mouth shut and just pointed to the sign. All the sudden, oh! - and the cashier wasn't happy about it. Be prepared for the worst, but expect the best. It is the policy.
  7. I agree. I went to a 2nd Target in the greater NY area while I was visiting a friend and there was really nothing to report at all. Some things were 30% off and some 50% but most were 30% only. After 2 Targets and no sandals were clearanced, I guess it's not getting clearanced here (it's the same shoe). Toy Story toys were only 30% in this store. They did have a lot of the Caterpillar game for 75% off (the entire endcap was full of them). All the Home stuff was only 30% off, as was Stationary stuff. Needless to say, I left with 2 regular price items (toddler hair bows) -- I have never seen them on sale or clearance before? Do they go on sale/clearance?
  8. Thanks mom2mom for the information. I live in a high traffic area so I imagine that I won't even be able to find the shoes here now so late. But in Cleveland they had 3-4 shelves of it still - probably cause it was still at 50% off. All sizes 3-6. I am in need of size 4. DD tried them and loved it but it doesn't look it like fits on her foot that well but since she's under 2, I figure she won't be walking too much in them this year, at least not enough to hurt her feet. EDIT: Stopped by one of my Targets and the white toddler sandals were full price, and not even clearanced yet. I guess that makes 50% off not seem so bad. I did see A LOT of girls cleats for 75% off, and I found 2 pairs of the rain boots in the garden department (but since it rang up as misc, it charged me tax ). The ones in the shoe department are not taxed.
  9. I was in Cleveland OH area yesterday and stopped by their Target. I got my DD white sandals that she needs for the summer for 50% off. I thought that I read somewhere that people found girls summer shoes for 75% off. Did it include the white sandals for toddler girls? I bought them since I'm not sure where I can find back at home - although I'm really hoping for 75% off here and we also don't have tax on shoes here. I did see a bunch of boys sneakers (Cherokee) ($3.74), C9 flip flops (4.24) and Circo kids casual sandels/flip flop type ($1.79) for 75% off. They had a lot of toys for 50% off -- Circo toys for toddlers/babies & the Toy Story ones were still 50% off so it leads me to believe that this store might be behind other stores in markdowns, but I don't know the area at all.
  10. Oh that sucks. I mean wouldn't you have been able to use the coupon this week even though it's on sale? So they should give you back the true difference. But I agree something if the item is so large, then I don't bother with the return, rebuy.
  11. Me too. I couldn't find it here either, I guess I was too late. I have checked every aisle LOL. But sometimes they do bring out stuff that wasn't there before. Easter is also salvaged here, but we went to 90% off by Saturday.
  12. A random question: As someone who very rarely took advantage of holiday clearances at Target before Christmas 2009 (and the only one I did before that was an occasional v-day), after Easter is there really any other holiday clearance before Halloween? or is Halloween, the next one? Thanks!
  13. I stopped by to return something and I saw that dollar spot blue items had been salvaged already (which I expected). But surprisingly, the Easter items were not salvaged yet - even though we went to 90% on Friday or Sat (I think Sat). It will definitely be salvaged tomorrow if it follows the Vday schedule. And they had an entire end cap of easter grass (which did not ring up), eggs and decorating kits and one Nerf basket that were not there when I went on Saturday afternoon. There was also a few Fisher Price toys left so I picked them all up. I found one Reese's eggs candy bag in the cart that I pulled out for use. Otherwise, I couldn't find any easter candy anywhere either on Sat or this morning. I checked all the other departments and couldn't find any stray Easter items. I also found Hello Kitty Stamp & Sticker kit (ages 5+) for $1.24 in the toy section (75% off). I will list out the items when I get a chance - but I think most of the stuff I got has been listed already. ### 081040607 Hello Kitty Stamp & Sticker kit $1.24
  14. Most stores salvage the dollar spot at 75% off. But there are a few select stores out there that go to 90%.
  15. Thanks Katie from MA for reporting so early that your store went to 90%. I just came back from checking out my store and it went to 90% either today or yesterday, I have no idea since I haven't been to the store since Wed. I was thinking it would go tomorrow (sunday) so I'm really glad that I went to check it out today. Where there was 2 FULL aisles on Wed when it went to 75% off, there was virtually nothing left today. They had already replaced everything with the bulk items and other "summer" food items. There was one small basket of easter stuff left on the floor - of which, I picked out an Carter's easter basket and pillsbury stuff. There were stilll a few more Easter scattered randomly in the various departments, but it was pretty random - there were no toys left at all except the Imaginext that I found in the stationary section of all places. There were a lot of items at 75% off in the dollar spot which I picked up. Here's what I left with: ### (4) Girl's Shorts $0.40 each ### (6) Girls Socks from the blue dot dollar spot $0.25 each ### (2) Baby socks form the dollar spot $0.25 each ### (1) FP Imaginext Easter Toy Set $1.49 ### (1) Carter's Easter Basket $0.79 ### (4) Sesame Street Elmo paperback books $0.25 each (dollar spot) ### (1) Precious Moments potty book $0.25 each (dollar spot) ### (1) Benjamin Bunny Coloring Book $0.25 each (dollar spot) ### (3) Precious Moments small board book $0.25 each (dollar spot) ### (2) Counting/Shape small board book $0.25 each (dollar spot) ### (1) Peter Cottontail Easter Book (sings) $0.98 ### (1) Chick Board Book $0.15 ### (1) Bunny board book $0.25 (dollar spot) ### (3) Pillsbury Spring frosting $0.16 each ### (1) Pillsbury Spring Cake Mix $0.16 ### (1) Bicycle Mini Cards $0.10 ### (1) Knee High Easter Socks $0.50 ### (1) Carter's Newborn Boys Easter Booties $0.39 ### (1) Flinestones Sour Gummies Vitamins $3.25 (thanks Sarasuzymama) And I indulged in a full price single serve Simply Lemonade at $1.49! I spent around $18 for everything. I looked really hard for the crayola items that are on sale and the clearance batteries but couldn't find anything. I also happy cause now I don't have to go on Sunday morning and wake up early for it.
  16. Mine also went to 75% off Easter this morning. There was still a good amount of stuff left. I went ahead and got some more stuff. I really should return the items that there were still a lot left of and wait for 90% off, but it's really hard to guess. I got 3 pairs of shorts of DD (18M) and 1 lonely shirt (2T) that had a small mark on it but I think it can be washed out. A Target worker grab the other 3 shirts before I could get to them but left the one that had the mark. I also bought the FP toy that I got at 50% off previously. Sigh, live & learn - I should not have gotten it at 50% off. It was the only one left. I'll go back when it hits 90%. I remember Sunday for V-day was the first day that it was 90% off and Vday was on a Sunday this year. Oh - regular bagged candy went from 30 to 50% off. Not yet at 75% off.
  17. Ok - I should not go to sales when it's only 50% off cause I keep thinking that I need the stuff at 50% off but I really don't. I should wait for 75% or better yet just get slim picking at 90%. But as usual, I could not resist. I bought the plastic eggs at 50% off (2 packages) - I keep telling myself I should wait it out. I only saw a few toys there -- I thought about stashing them, but I haven't done this before so I couldn't find a good place and our store is a high traffic, and they clean it up all the time. My hiding spots will be found - no doubt. I picked up the FP Little People's Easter Basket for $7.49, but I really don't need it at this price. DD has too many toys anyways. I also got the Tag Jr Book for $2.49. There was still quite a bit of items there - lots of shorts for toddlers- I really wanted to get some but at $2 each... I'll hold off. What else is worth getting at only 50% off?
  18. Lot of the stationary items and school type items were 75% off (thank you cards, baby announcement sets, club wedd invitation sets, scissors, compasses etc). Puzzles were 50% off. All the toddler clothing and baby clothing were only 30% off here. A lot of baggies - like Ziploc, Hefty, Glad were 30% off. I got Glad gallon storage bags 100 ct for $4.24. It doesn't go on sale too much in my area so I figured, I'd just get it and see. Not the best price but it would save me time. I also got a $5 birthday card for my mom so that kinda blew my budget LOL. But she loved it so I guess I can't put a real price on that.
  19. I have not seen Garden Center at Targets where I grew up (upstate NY) nor in the metro NY area either (not surprising... how many people actually have a yard?). But Lowes definitely does.
  20. We just had a Kohls open up near me so I've been momentarily distracted from Target (which is a little further away). I'd love to find a $12.xx knife set. My knives consist of 2 pieces and they are fabreware brand, cheap as heck (quality wise) so anything else would be a step up. I did see Bakugan's (selected ones) marked to 75% off. There wasn't much variety.
  21. I also noticed some computer (PC) games as well, but I also didn't take not of the titles. There were definitely several at 75% off at my store on Friday or Sat.
  22. Today - DH had to return something at Target and I convinced him to go to one that was slightly further away. I found a 2 more bulk shirts (baby girls) for $0.75 each - cashier entered it in as merchandise (without even scanning it) as opposed to DCPI so I guess it's been salvaged - although I didn't scan it myself to check. I also found the Talking Oscar the Grouch for $6.48 (75% off).
  23. I echo the PP, WOW! I pay $3.59 for whole milk a gallon. Sometimes it's $3.79 or $3.99, and sometimes I like the organic variety which is $3.99 or more per 1/2 gallon.
  24. Fantastic! Glad you found them. My DD is too young still but my nephew will love them. DH is starting to notice my PP habit. He said he sees a lot of stuff with these little red stickers on them.
  25. DPCI is 204041434 -- LF Tag Book
