  1. Warning about the Lego advertised sale...in my local ad it said " buy 2 get 1 free, on any Lego Harry Potter, Ninjao, and Prince of Persia sets, " of equal or lesser value, yada yada. So I bought three Harry Potter Lego sets, but they didn't ring as advertised. They rang, buy 1 get 1 half off. The customer service cashier gave the difference back without hesitation, and told me that it was a misprint, but they do have to honor the ad. So just make sure you check your receipt!
  2. I would have pushed it...I agree if the boxes were on the shelf, they are fair game!! That whole story they gave you sounds fishy. If they were in fact "in the process" of being purchased, the boxes would have been removed from the shelf & been behind the electronics counter.
  3. One of my Target's never changed the 50 off sign either, so when I overheard a grandmother telling her grandkids they could just get a couple of things, I told her that the red dots were actually 25 cents each, and I saw her eyes light up! Then she was like "Let's see what all you girls want!" and they all engaged in a red dot finding spree. It was so cute.
  4. There are two different brands of these balls - as far as I can tell the "Sky Ball" brand is made with pretty thick material, and I'm not really sure if it's water or some other substance inside, some of them are just air-filled too. I didn't see any of these looking flat. They actually do bounce really high with enough force, on a flat surface, and will continue to bounce for quite some time, but finding a place safe to allow them free play with these might be a problem. The filled ones, I convinced them to just roll, as they are heavier. They also have a bumpy outer texture, so they still bounce a bit when rolled, which my kids find entertaining. Well, balls are always great toys - helps get the kids more active than sitting playing video games - so I'm all for that!! :)
  5. I didn't go to Target yesterday or today, but everything was pretty cleaned out as of Monday evening anyway, so I bet what ever was left has all been salvaged & gone. I did really good on Sunday & Monday though - probably got about 20 packs of those Twist Crayons, about 10 of the squeeze bubbles, and not sure if anyone else mentioned the Sky Balls-- they were in the regular bin on the regular toy isle -- a few with Easter designs on the labels, and they rang up 90% off! These are those incredibly expensive "super" balls, some were water filled with glitter inside, reg. $9.99 - $7.99 each. (That my kids are always wanting, and I'm always saying "no.") So I went a little crazy and bought all they had at every store I went to - think I ended up with about 12 of them. A couple of them are filled with butterflies. Very cute. None of my area stores had the Hot Wheels marked down past $4.49. (Bummer)
  6. Thanks SO much for the tip on the crayons!! I found them on the regular isle. Got 6 packs for $0.44 each!! ###081040397 mini twistable crayons reg. $4.44 - 90% off - $0.44
  7. Gosh - Target clearance news seems to be really slowing down. Probably good for me, as I'm less interested in running out to buy stuff I don't really need...but anyone find any great after Easter stuff yet? I'm getting ready to run my daughter over to Target for a b-day gift for a friend, and will take a looksie. Just thought I'd see if anyone posted anything before I headed out.
  8. I've been sick all week, but finally made it out yesterday. Black dots in dollar spot were 75% off in Exton, PA - no signs - Here's what I got: - Pink & orange calculators - Coupon organizers - tape measures - mini dust pan & hand broom sets (pink & blue) - 2011 Road Atlas booklets - note pads - paperclips Cute stuff. What other dollar spot stuff did you guys get? I did't see any green dots.
  9. Exton, Malvern, & Lionville, Pennsylvania - 90% off valentines, 75% off candy, and although purple dollarspot was coming up "item not found" the Lionville checker rang Them manually at $.25 each. Got some excellent things for the Girl Scout Circus themed event I have coming up: 8 Striped shower curtains @ $1.29 each (will use for table cloths & photo backdrop) 10pks of silly bands (Target package, dog shapes I think, 24 in each) @ $0.19/pk 16pks of Sherrif badges (Target package, 16 in each) @ $.19/pk 5pks of Stretchy butterflies (ditto)@ $.19/pk 10 boxes of Fun Dips (24 per box) @ $.32/box 3 dessert tiers @ $.99ea. and more....
  10. Where did you find these? Were they in the regular isle, v-day section, dollar spot?!
  11. Yeah - I saw those Target brand building blocks...more like Mega blocks, I think they are in a plastic blue bin with green lid & have the red wrapping around it? I'm pretty sure there were several of those at the Exton, PA & Malvern, PA Targets. I didn't get any. I've become pretty particular about just getting Lego brand when ever possible because they are just a better product than all the knock-offs, (that's why LEGO has been around all these years) though Mega blocks has gotten licenses of some of my kids' favorite characters, so we've caved and bought a few of the HALO, Pixar CARS, and Thomas sets. However, DS1(11) is a die-hard LEGO brand kid, and can tell what brand a brick is just by glancing at it.
  12. I found a LEGO table yesterday at the Exton, PA Target!! I think it must've been in the stock room, because I know it wasn't there several days ago. It was the only one, and I was so excited! I also picked up a few Mega block sets; a Thomas the Tank Engine Salty set - $5.02, and an IronMan2 set - $2.48. There were still a few of the Lego sets left, but I got the ones I really wanted (one for each ds), and IF there are still any left next week & they do get marked down more (which I doubt) I will get more.:)
  13. I seriously doubt many (if any) Lego sets will go to 75% off - and I can't remember who it was, but someone earlier said that a Target employee told her that they aren't going past 50% off - so I suggest buying now if you really want them. BTW - I am SO jealous that you got the Lego table!
  14. Exton, PA - 75% off most toys! Lego sets 50% off-- they have quite a few Power Miner, World Racer, & Hero Factory (Bionicle) sets at the moment. Most are the $40 org. price sets, so $20. I had to limit myself to three sets.
  15. Did you scan anything? Often the stores don't bother to put up the 90% sign. Exton, PA went 90% yesterday, they still had lots of the large ornaments, stockings, and some other c-mas stuff I wasn't really interested in - I think there was lots of those Baby's first Christmas spoon ornaments & such. I was surprised that a few little stocking stuffer things I had stashed were still there (untouched) so that was great!
  16. Yes - they still had a lot this morning (I think I was the first to the seasonal section after it opened), but I was in a hurry to get to my doctor appt. (which I ended up 15 minutes late for), so couldn't do a good mental inventory. Here's what I got-- CANDY/FOOD 2 - bags of Nerds boxes - $0.62/ea. (I think they still had some more) 1 - 42 oz. bag of Christmas M&Ms - $2.24 3 - boxes of Wonka choc/toffee candies - $0.29/ea. 2 - Hershey's Cookies & Cream bars (Nutcraker on the wrapper) $0.09/ea. 1 - Lindor Milk Choc. Truffel 3pk. (small red bag) $0.12 10 - LaffyTaffy canes (will put the candy in goodie bags for dd's bday party) $0.19/ea. 4 - Pixy Stix canes (ditto) $0.19/ea. 1 - Skittles light-up "wand" $0.29 4 - Hickory Farms Beef Sausage Stick packs (like beef jerky) $0.49/pk. of 8 sticks CHRISTMAS 18" Lighted Snowman (just spotted this as I was dashing away from the Holiday area) $1.69 Ribbon - $0.30/roll 3 - 6 ft. Green extension cords $0.37/ea. TOYS/OTHER 4 - Mentos Geyser tubes (my kids are budding rocket scientists) $0.39/ea. 1 - Thomas metal train $0.69 2 - Lip Smacker sets $0.39/ea. I think all the Pink Dollar spot stuff must've been salvaged, as I didn't see any left in the front, but did find one thing in the seasonal area that scanned "item not found." I didn't really want it, just wanted to see what the scanner said. Didn't really see anything I would go back to Exton, or Lionville for (both were still at 75%), but Exton did still have quite a bit of Christmas decor left. I was just excited to have found the Christmas M&M's , so my trip wasn't wasted.
  17. Amendment to Exton, Pa - guess the candy went 75%, as I scored 3-42oz. Bags of Christmas M&Ms, on the regular isle, used my $1off coupon (printed off Target website last week), and got all three for $5.52!
  18. Malvern, PA - 90% off TODAY! Still has wrapping paper, ribbon, ornaments, garland, and cards, a few piggy banks, stockings, only a few stocking stuffer type stuff left. Candy at 75% off, but not much left. Will check Exton after my Dr. appt.
  19. Based on the markdown schedule of the past few years, 90% prob. won't happen til Mon. or Tuesday - not sure I'll venture out today, really should get some house cleaning done so I have somewhere to store all my bargains anyway.
  20. That's too bad!! I went to Malvern, Exton, and Oaks, PA Targets yesterday - all were at 75% and all still had quite a bit of stuff, including lights (just string & icicle lights mainly). You probably don't want to travel 1.5 hours - but just FYI. I plan to go to IKEA in Conshocken today, so will check the Target near there as well (I believe it's listed as Plymouth Meeting), from past experience, they don't mark down on the same schedule as the others nearer me, so may still be at 50%, but will let you know. :)

Lots of Misc.; Cards, Puzzels, etc. $0.25/ea Disappointed at not finding any Oreos this time, but will check the other Targets in the area... THANKS for the Scotch coupons!! I'll hopefully get to use them at the next Target I go to!
  23. OOPs! I forgot to mention that the Lionville, PA store had several of the White Wii's if anyone is interested! I'm pretty sure they were marked $139
  24. Went "Target-ing" today with a mission to find the Xbox360 Green Day Rockband game for 75% off (like KC found for the Wii) - managed to find a Xbox360 Rockband Classic Rock game for $7.48 (75% off) at the Target in Malvern, PA - but both Exton & Lionville still had all their clearance games at 30% off?! Ugh!! My bargain mind would not allow me to go ahead and buy at $27.98, (both Exton & Lionville had a few) knowing they were reduced more at the other stores. I'll try another store tomorrow...
