  1. I didn't see a thing in the Target BF ad that'd get me there either, I've never gone to the Lego store on BF, we're a Lego family though - maybe I'd better check it out! I saw more things at interested me in the Kmart & Walmart ads...not that I really need much with all the Target clearance stuff I've been stocking up on! I really should get everyone out of the house for an entire day, and get all the stuff out and sort through it. I have a feeling I have more than enough for all the boys, as well as nieces, nephews, and young cousins. LOL!
  2. I found one package of Halloween Squinkies today, but they weren't salvaged - they were back to regular price! Sheesh. I left it. I wasn't in the mood to argue with the cashier. The rest of Halloween was gone. Make way for Christmas!! Walmart had their Halloween at 75%, but as I arrived the we're starting to pack it up for salvage. I snagged the Adult Tinkerbell costume DD wanted, before the guy got to it - no packaging or anything - so got it for $2.00!
  3. Where in PA are you? If you're in the Malvern/Exton area, it may be that I wiped those stores out of the Legos. Sorry! Someone beat me to the Kleenex though. On Saturday night they had a ton, then when I went in on Monday - they were all gone! My Girl Scout troop is doing the Christmas shoe box project, so I will donating most of the legos to their project. I also have three boys who are crazy about Legos, so I'll use some for stocking stuffers as well. I found two Zoobles, didn't see (or know what to look for) any Squinkies. I imagine everything will be going to salvage tonight or tomorrow morning.
  4. Halloween 70% off, Candy 50% off, and purple dot 50% here. Bought an Adult sized Ghostbusters costume for $9.00 - figured it wouldn't be there at 90%, that is IF my store goes to 90%.
  5. It seems hardly anyone is posting here anymore - is everyone posting about Target clearance somewhere else? Just curious, it seems strange that no one posted anything here for almost three days. On another note - I don't like the mobile version, as I can't see where the person is posting from, so unless you state in your post the city & state - I have no idea where the deal was found. Can't get out today - home with sick kid.
  6. Nope...at my Target right now, brown dots scanning INF, and orange triangles - full price!! WTH?! They still had a lot of brow dot stuff last night, but must've cleared it out this morning - only found a few things, but as they probably won't give me 90% off, not going to bother. I needed something else, so at least I didn't waste a trip here.
  7. I went back again to my Target yesterday, and brown dot was still 70% here too, BUT I read the dates on the sign this time, and it said 9-18 was the last day, so maybe 90% off today?! I'm going to try again as soon as I get the twins on the bus, and Dh to work (I hate only having one car). Hope there will be something left! They were shoving stuff around (but not packing it up!) to make space for new stuff last night.
  8. I got so excited with your post, ran over to my Target - no joy here. Still at 70% off, and now they have the sign posted, so doubt they'll have much left soon, but may check again tomorrow to see. *sigh*
  9. Usually the dollar spot goes directly from 75% to INF. When I find items that are INF there, I tell the cashier that I purchased some of the same item at another store, or a few days ago (which is usually the truth) and those colored dots (or whatever shape) were 75% off. (I try to tell them before they scan them.) As long as I get a cashier that knows how the dollar spot items get reduced, I usually have no trouble getting them for $0.25 each, a few times they've had to call a manager to approve, and most give the okay.
  10. Our lawn/patio/grill stuff went 75% off yesterday, not really anything I need, though I think it's very bizarre how a few items are still regular price. (I scanned!!) I did a walk around the Malvern store, lots of activity - resetting the BTS area (though only some items were marked 30% off, and some backpacks & lunch boxes were 50%), activity was also going on in the office supply / stationary area, housewares, and grocery. I mainly just saw boxes of new items, and arranging shelves - I didn't see any team members with mark down scanners, but maybe after I left? Brown dot was still 50% off, but no sign. Does anyone know how many days it's usually at 50%? Trying to decide if I should check again today. I didn't look for orange triangles - what sort of items were those?
  11. My store didn't have a sign for the brown dot clearance, but it did scan 50% yesterday. I was also wondering when it would go to 75%, as I want to load up on stuff for party favors.
  12. Does anyone have an idea of when the brown dot stuff in the dollar spot will go on clearance? I'm looking to get Disney/Pixar Cars2 stuff for my twins birthday party next month.
  13. Congratulations! Excellent score!! You are so lucky to have gotten that mixer at 90% off! At my stores they are usually quite stingy about the INF things, sometimes they'll give me 50-75% off (even if I tell them they were 90% off), sometimes they won't sell them to me at all, and sometimes they insist that they have to sell it at the original price. (At which I say, "No thank you!!") I got a small score yesterday - after whining & complaining about everyone else getting Harry Potter Lego sets 75% off, I found ONE at my store!! The Quidditch set for $4.98. I think it had to be a return (box is a little damaged), and when they scanned it at CS, must have discovered it should've been marked down, because the 75% off was the only clearance sticker on it. After finding that, I scoured the shelves for more, but no dice. There weren't any more quidditch sets, and all other HP still at full price. (And of course I scanned.) Did also find a bunch of kids space themed socks in the dollar spot with pink spots - 50% off, would usu. wait til 75%, but my store actually had a sign up this time, and my twins really wanted them, so I snatched up two of each design I could find in their size. I think there are green & black with aliens, blue & orange with planets, and blue & orange with rocket ships. Very cute. also got two Dr. Seuss themed adult sizeocks for DD - she can wear them for Dr. Seuss's birthday, or whenever! There were more Dr. Seuss little items, erasers, pencils, some note pads, plastic cups & bowls, but I decided to wait those out.
  14. At my store, if it's a store loyalty card special, I was told by the manager that they could not price match, that it was their corporate policy. Here's my story: I had been told by an store associate in the grocery section that they would price adjust on some frozen food items I commented on, (I had showed her the ad, and told her I was going there next since it was such a good sale price, and it was so much higher there) she assured me that they would give me the same great deal, so I could save a trip to the other store, and instructed me to buy the items at the register & get the price adjustment at customer service. I did as she said, but when I got to customer service, the manager said they couldn't do the price adjustment because it was a store loyalty sale item, AND also said I couldn't return the items for refund either (because they were frozen food items)! I was livid. I explained that I would not have even purchased them there at all if the SA hadn't told be that they would price adjust, and had to raise a big stink before they finally did it for me. Of course the manager was a real snot about it, and guarenteed me that they would not do this again. I told her then she'd better make sure that all the SA's knew the policy! So, if you're getting any food items, be sure to take the ad by CS first, and be sure that the same associate will be there when you check out. From that experience, I have never tried to price match anything since.
  15. Stopped by my nearest Target tonight. Looked like they were getting the new toys in - the Lego isle, which was mega blocks & Lego, is now completely Lego (both sides), lots of new sets, but still none of the Harry Potter sets have been marked down, and they did leave a couple of empty spaces for the HP sets they have sold out of (w/ the pricetags on the shelf). *sigh* The play dough area was also freshly stocked with new items, as well as a few other areas. All their toy clearance is now on a couple of end caps, and half of the water toys/swimming pool isle. Some of the water toys are down to 50% off, but some still at 30%, and some not marked down at all. Weird. I'm trying to hold out for 75% off the water toys - want to get some sand pails for the twins' birthday party favors. Will keep checking.
  16. HA - I always spend too much also...but if I waited, I'm sure I'd spend more, or not be able to get the kids very much. Well, although I'm not the most organized person - I always try to be...I have several large plastic storage tubs in a certain color, or with a certain colored lid (red or green for christmas, yellow for easter, orange or black for halloween, blue for birthdays, etc.) and sort the gift items into those tubs so when the occasion arises, I can find the stuff! Of course last year I had gotten some large items that wouldn't fit in the tubs, so I left tied in the Target bags, and tried to keep them from getting shuffled around in the garage - but managed to lose one of the large Trucks I had gotten (for my twins) so that was a headache - ended up having to go purchase another one at full price (I think I had had gotten it 90% off after Christmas the year before) so my twins would get equal presents. (Ugh, and I still haven't found it!!)
  17. Stopped by a Target off City Line in west Philly today (I'd never been there, as I'm not usually in that area) - they looked like either they were pulling the clearance toys for re-setting, or to box for salvage. The toys were all dumped into carts, but the carts were left in the isles, or near end caps (with scanners & such in them also, so I knew they weren't another customers' cart). No Sales associates were around them, so I fished off the top of the carts, and snagged a few items - didn't feel like digging (and didn't want to stir up any trouble). Besides, all the boys were with me. My receipt didn't print well, so I can't read the DCPI numbers. ###Mega Block Thomas set $12.48 ###Moon Sand (2 color pack) $1.84 ###Lego ALANTIS Ocean Speeder $1.43 ###Lego CREATOR Super Speeder/Red Car/Truck set $5.74 ###Playdough Burger Builder Set $3.74 Oh! I also found a cute hooded bath towel in the Baby section, that looked like a shark, had to have it. (Have a cousin & niece both pregnant right now.) ###Hooded Towel $2.48 All the Harry Potter & other Lego sets still at full price. *sigh* I need to stop buying stuff anyway...
  18. Still lamenting over the Lego sets...tried Kmart today, and no dice. Mine didn't have any of them marked down, or if they had some, they were gone. I tried scanning several also. Kmart did have two of the Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EFB-25 guns ($17 ea.), and 2 Nerf Ammo boxes with 100 darts in each ($13 ea.). Santa wasn't able to deliver these last year, so they were an excellent score, and I snatched them up. Well, I'll keep checking the Lego sets at Target...if anyone else in one of the areas like mine happens to notice their Legos suddenly being on clearance - please post!
  19. Thanks for the tip! I'll have to dash to Kmart as soon as I can! Waiting for a friend to drop by & pick up something...hope they get here soon. From previous experience, my Kmart doesn't carry much in the Lego department, but it's always worth a shot. Where are you located? I went to my nearest Target (Malvern, PA) again last night and did manage to find a Knights Kingdom Outpost set that scanned at 75% off last night, but the rest were still at full price.
  20. Can you list the small Lego sets you got? I know none of my stores have put the Harry Potter Lego sets on clearance (all are still full price here - I even scanned them all again, for the third time, this afternoon), but I did finally manage to find a Knight's Kingdom Outpost set that scanned 75% off today (was not marked). So that made me happy to have finally found one. They started consolidating the marked clearance toys to one isle at my stores, but most of the 75% off stuff was gone already. They just started marking down the summer seasonal toys (bubbles, balls, water guns, sand pails, etc.) to 30% off. I'm keeping my eye on those. Sand pails make great party favor containers. Anyone have an idea how long it'll take for those to go to 75%?
  21. ARRGGG!! I am soo jealous of all of you that got Lego sets on clearance! I put several of the sets you all have in your photos in my basket and scanned them all - but they are all still regular price here!! I've been to four Targets in a 35 mile radius of my home, and every store is the same. The only Lego sets I've seen marked down were some Toy Story3, and some small Prince of Persia sets. None of the Cars, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Pirates, Atlantis, etc. seem to even be marked down at all. I did find a couple of the Lego Robot games, but that was all that was Lego, that they had at 75% off. The Toy Story3 sets were only at 50% off (and I'm not interested in those). I did find some of the other things you guys did, and really did well getting clearance jeans for all the kids at about $2/each (or less) using the Target coupons. (I managed to get 6-8 pairs for each of my four kids using some extra coupons I acquired.) So, congratulations to all of you that found Lego sets 75% off - I'll keep stalking them at my stores, but doubt I'll have the fortune you did!
  22. Some 75% off here in Malvern, PA - will have to post details later, as I'll be heading to the Exton store next. (Came home to get my coupons I forgot earlier.) Be sure to check the board games shelf!! I found several games; Battle Ship (Build it style), Mystery Date, and Play Dough game - all were $3.24 each (or there abouts). They did not consolidate toys at all - I had to search up and down all isles, where clearance tags were. They were all marked, but like I said, I had to search for them. Lego sets still holding at 50% - haven't ever seen them go 75% around here, but may check back in a couple of days. None are sets my kids really want, but ds1 is a "brick master" so he always creates something other than the set is made for anyway. Didn't see any mark down people anywhere in the area, so hope they won't be doing more markdowns later today. Yay! Gotta go!!
  23. I was astonished to see Harry Potter Lego sets marked down in your photo - all were still regular price here as of Monday. I really didn't think they'd be marking them down at all since the last movie just came out. Haven't heard any news on new HP sets being released. Has anyone in Southeast PA been to a Target today? I'm with out a vehicle today (in the shop), but may get my Mom to come and take me if anyone has seen any toys 75% off in our area. Please let me know!
  24. Scored some more of the Juniors clearance jeans at the Exton, PA store - but weird, they had marked them to 70% off instead of 75% like the Malvern store (so they were $5.98 in Exton, $4.98 in Malvern) but I had more of the $3 off coupons, so got each pair for $2.98-- so I still call that a win! I think dd is stocked for jeans (for now), and if she decides to draw on them with sharpie (she's quite the artist), I won't complain (too much). I haven't really seen any great deals on toys around here. Most are still at 30%, a few at 50%, and they are scattered on the regular isles with clearance tabs on the shelf. Doesn't look like they are getting ready to consolidate them into a big clearance isle. Don't know what to expect anymore, my stores are getting less predictable, which is frustrating.
  25. Thanks to whoever mentioned the jeans coupons! I printed out two of each of the clothing coupons & didn't have any problems using them today. My best deals for the day: ##014116480 Junior Jeans (Clearance 75%) $4.98 -$3 Target coupon = $1.98 (got two pairs for dd) ##046020065 Boys Levi's (Clearance 75%) $4.24 -$2 Target coupon= $2.24 (two pairs for ds2&3) ##033010272 Toddler Circo Tees $1.50 (Clearance 75%) "Monster Mess Maker" Truck design ##033011845 Toddler Circo Tees $1.12 (Clearance 75%) tie-dye looking stripes, got two of these ##033034271 Toddler Cherokee LS Shirts $2.00 (Clearance 75%) Plaid - got two of these, can't remember which color this number is, but one is yellow, navy & white, and the other is Gray, blue, and white ##046141779 Boys Cherokee Cargo Shorts $3.24 (Clearance 75%) Funny luck - dd wanted another pair of jeans (full price ones), so I had her go ahead of me & pay cash for those, and she got a coupon with her recipt for $5.00 off $25 of school supplies, so she handed me the coupon, and I used it right away, since I was also getting a fancy five-star Mead zipper binder for ds1 (and a few other little school supplies). I felt like I did great -but will try another Target tomorrow for more jeans for dd, if I can get some friends or family members to print more for me.
