Paper Jamz are in the Target ad on sale for $22.99. I don't know what the regular price is so I don't know if this is a deal or not.

If that one is going to be on sale now then I KNOW there will be something better coming! Try to stay away from Windows CE machines, it's pretty much the same thing that's in Windows cell phones. Wait for one that has Windows XP or 7 starter and an Atom processor. Don't worry they will be out there!

That looks like the last generation but Apple lowered it to that price months ago. Kmart is making it look like it's on sale.

I saw a bunch at Toys R Us here in NH.

Ok, went to Walmart tonight. They had plenty of Zoobles and Squinkies. I was only going to get the Zoobles for DD for xmas but those Squinkies are wicked cute! They only had the 2 pack of Monster High dolls. TONS of Zhu Zhu Pets. I don't think they will be popular this year, they have way too many. And I didn't see the Paper Jamz anywhere. :)

Defiantly the new Nano, it now has a touchscreen and looks like a mini iTouch. The new Shuffle looks more like the Shuffle before last with bringing the buttons back and the new iTouch has a few new things including rear and front facing cameras! Check them out here: http://www.apple.com/

Toys R Us and I think a couple others had the iTouch with a $50 gift card last year. I think that's all I've seen though.

I would definitely NOT get my kids iPads ESPECIALLY if they weren't begging for them! I say hold off. Worse case pre-teens/teens will always accept cash!

I believe it is the year! We we're hoping for it last year and only got a few stores that went down to $150 and that horrid one from Kmart for $100. The difference this year is the iPad, and other tablet PC's in the works, are dragging down netbook sales. Hopefully this is good for us. If they don't have any netbooks in the $100-120 range for BF keep your eye out because the market for netbooks might go so low that they stop making them. I predict an Acer with an Atom processor and Windows 7 Starter for about $120. Hopefully not at just Best Buy because I won't camp out for 2 days for any deal!

Thanks for your "review" of the Squinkies and Zoobles! DD wants both. I thought Squinkies looked cute on the commercial but from one people are saying they aren't worth it. I thought Zoobles did look like Bakugans and thought maybe DD and her Zoobles could play with DS and his Bakugans!

So it looks like the "hot" toys so far are: Pillow Pets Zoobles Squinkies Monster High Dolls maybe Furry Frienzies and electronics such as iPod Touch's and 3DS's All are on DD's list except for the Furry Frienzies, I think she's over the Zhu Zhu type things although these are waaay cuter than Zhu Zhus. Also I saw a commercial for Moon Dough today. I know Moon Sand was a "hot" toy a couple years ago and this stuff isn't as messy!

I think there will be a lot of sales on LCD and Plasma TV's this year. Seems like LED and 3D TV's are the rage now.

If they don't play with their DSi's then I wouldn't bother with the 3DS. Every review that I have read has been great. Why would you hold it further than 12" from your face?

I agree with Brad. Last year we were in a horrible recession and the ads were pretty bad. Now that we are supposedly out of the recession (which we are not, I'm in real estate, I know ) I can't see the ads being much better than last years. I figure if all else fails I will be in line at the Coach Outlet in BF.

DH has the Motorola i1, on Nextel but they have it for Boost too, he likes it and I'm way jealous.

Yes, DD saw the commercial for Squinkies and wants them. I have not seen them in stores yet. Also my local CVS had Pillow Pets and they were gone within a few days. It's so hard to predict what toy is going to be "the" toy of the season. Who predicted Zhu Zhus last year?! We need to talk to them!

As of right now I'd like a $100 netbook for DS. A $100 15-19" LCD TV and a Pillow Pet for DD. For me, a Coach purse from the outlet store and a remote starter for my car. DH needs stuff for his new truck but doubt what he wants will be on sale for BF. That's all I know right now, I'm sure my list will grow in time.
