Exactly. I would defiantly recommend the Wii for a 5 year old. We have a Wii and my 6 year old loves it and I'm looking to get my 11 year old an Xbox for Xmas.

I would defiantly say the Wii. Xbox is geared more for adults and the Wii is more for kids and families. :)

Walmart has the Xbox with Kinect for on sale for $299 with a $50 Walmart gift card this Saturday. Does anyone think that's as good as it will get or should I wait for a better deal? Thanks!

Unless you can score a Touchpad there are none for $100 that are worth it. Don't throw your money away. Although rumor has it the Blackberry Playbooks might have the same $99 fate as the Touchpad. :)

I searched for two weeks and came close so many times! I think my last chance is the new batch from HP, whenever that comes. There is always a chance the prices come down on eBay but those chances are slim. Lol

No store that I know of price matches their own website. Well I went to Burger King last night and got me and DH 2 Italian chicken sandwiches with extra sauce...I got 2 Italian chicken sandwiches with almost no sauce and orange American cheese instead of mozzarella! Of course I didn't notice this until I got home and was not going all the way back. They were gross! I have had it with incompetent people, I am done with fast food!

I think I have seen them at TRU but IMO unless your kids have asked for the Calico Critters by name they have ones at Walmart (can't remember the name right now, Woodsville or something) that I think are cuter and way cheaper than the Calicos. Their house is only $20! My DD has the house and uses it for her Pollys. :)

I'd buy another than return the $8 one to the store when it comes in. I got one for $5.00! Will go great with the baby Cinderella I got at Target on BF for $5!

They have TONS of cases on ebay, just make sure it's coming from the US or you would never get it in time. I think they also have plain silicone cases at Walmart cheap. I suggest a case, screen protector and wall charger adapter for the essentials. She can get speakers and whatever else she wants with her x-mas money.

Headphones yes but some radio/speaker docks only have the iPod adapter to plug them in. You need to find a dock that just has a headphone jack to plug them in. I have an iPod so I don't know of any off hand. Like this. So my friend came to me (cuz she knows I find all the deals ) and asked me to find this WWE alarm clock (posting link below). She's redoing her DS7's room over for x-mas. She saw it at TRU about a month ago but she didn't have the money to buy it. She went back, they are out of stock and can't seem to find them anywhere!
