I can confirm they do have the Angry Birds Knock on Wood game at Walgreens, didnt see the UNO game though. Just bought one for $17.99 (eek) and they had one left if anyone is near the Walgreens in Hampton NH. :)

Also starting today you can "borrow" books from Amazon with Amazon Prime. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me cuz I have the Kindle app and not an actual Kindle.

There is a definite difference in the price but if the question isn't about price I would have to the Asus Transformer with the keyboard dock for a 16 yo. I can't say anything about the brand Asus because I have never owned one but everyone I've heard that has a Transformer raves about it. My DS11 has the netbook from Target since last year and it still works great.

I was wondering the same thing. We have a Wii but I got an Xbox for Xmas. I asked DS if he were to get an Xbox would he rather have Skylander on the Wii or Xbox. He said Wii so I'm not sure what I'm going to do. We don't have a Hastings so I guess I'll see if it goes on sale before Xmas. :)

I think they were being sarcastic. The only thing we miss about not having a disk drive is not being about to double it as a portable DVD player. We can always use the laptop for that though, bigger screen. :)

I pre-ordered it at Game Stop. I put $5 down and it will be $70 when it comes out, I think. It comes with the gold Wii mote.

It's basically a small laptop with less memory and no disk drive. My son has used it everyday since Xmas going on the Internet and playing games and it's worked great.

The only ones you can get now are with the HP computer bundle at Best Buy or eBay. I ordered mine through CDW during the fire sale in Aug and just received it a couple weeks ago. Lol

My tip to anyone looking to get a "cheap" Android tablet...Don't Do It! They are really not worth it. Most have resistive touch screens which will drive you Crazy! They are horrible! I can not recommend anyone to get a "tablet" that is below a Nook Color or Kindle Fire price range. Unless there is another HP TouchPad like fire sale on another tablet you will not find one under $200 that is worth it at all. If your looking for one for more money I would go with the ASUS Transformer. Oh course if you want top of the line go all out for an iPad. If you absolutely can't afford a Color or Fire keep checking the Apple Refurb store online because they often have last gen iPod Touches on sale this time of year for around $150 or less. Of course that is all IMHO. Personally I have an iPhone and a TouchPad and my DS11 has an iPod Touch and we couldn't be happier. :)

Did you check the store stock checker on Walmart.com or BestBuy.com? There are a couple Walmarts near me that say they are in stock. They might be saving them for BF now though. They have been on sale at least the last 2 BFs. Personally I would spring for a DSiXL.

I got one of those net books for DS last year. It wasn't BF, just a sale before Xmas. He uses it daily and it's still going strong. Plays Internet games like Mind Craft on it too and works great. It was a lot better than I was expecting. I would buy it again. :)

I hope not. Toys r us is opening at 10. If they keep getting earlier and earlier we won't be able to have Thanksgiving at all anymore. Lol

My DS 11 has been playing Spyro since he was 3! Loves him. Of course he has this on his list too. The starter kit comes with 3 characters. You can buy extra characters to expand game play. You can also play multi-player. I'd say you can start with the starter pack then add more characters later. Maybe tell other family members that we wants them or maybe for a birthday present. :)
