I go shopping for my kids on black Friday so I wouldn't want to bring them with me. I always go to Wal-Mart, Kohls, and target for sure then anywhere else that had a good deal on anything I'm looking for. My DS started high school this year so I have ordered him a letterman jacket to surprise him with at Christmas. All my DD has asked for was a Polaroid camera. I had a best buy gift reward to use and used it towards that and found a groupon for the film for her camera and ordered that. I usually don't start shopping at all until Black Friday but I must say it feels good to get a head start. We have a little Halloween tree and I have a Christmas present under it this year

My best tip is to make a plan. Always know what is going to be the hardest item to get and get in Line early for that item. Black Friday is about fun and kicking off the Christmas Season so have FUN
