Did anyone here buy the Lifetime Portable Basketball Goal for 69.00 on BF last year? Currently it is online for $79.00 and I am thinking about getting it now. How has it held up? Any major problems? TIA

While I was waiting on prescriptions last night I walked around target. I did not see much but if anyone is interested there was a DS for 84.00 Did not look too close but I think it was only the black. If anyone is looking for one it might be worth watching. Chesapeake Target at Hilcrest

Does he have a tablet? Any tools that he might like? New wallet with gift cards from places he like to go? One of those desert of the month clubs or something similar? Dads can be hard thankfully mine was much easier this year.

I think part of it depends on how responsible she is. If I was getting one and thought she would take care of it I would go with the ipod or like the previous poster said a tablet like the kindle fire hd.

A lot of my family plays guitar so the strings are a great price.

The big box of diapers (their brand) is usually $10.00. We bought a bunch last year for DGD and DD is expecting again in March. We plan to get a variety of sizes. Plus if you have a rewards card it adds to that as well. I think if you put them on you registry then if someone else buys them you get the rewards as well as the person buying them too.

Last year I think Sears had a good deal on a 12 inch bike.

We always eat at 1:00. We do a lot of the cooking and prep on Wednesday night. We have started asking anyone coming to bring a dish so that helps to. Everyone takes home leftovers too.

According to previous years we should Ace Hardware and Sears soon!! A girl can hope!!!

Not only does DD9 want the portable basketball goal but one of my married sons wants one too. I am also hoping for an awesome deal on one of those big tool boxes like the one in the Harbor Freight ad. I need to see if it is sturdy.

I shop in spurts as I find deals on things, but I will sometimes do a bunch in one day too if time and money allow. I get a lot done on BF, but I save for it all year. There are a few things I am really hoping for this year so I am waiting hoping the ads are good.

Our family divides and hits many openings, but Kohls is usually my store too.

Wow I can't imagine a 2 year old who doe not play with toys!! Why not get her something to do...some kind of tumbling or gymnastics, ballet, children's museum pass. If your older ones have a tablet why not get her one of kids ones or one those 49.00 mentioned in other threads.

I think Kohls always has their flatware sets on Black Friday. When you factor in the extra discount and what it puts towards Kohls cash it's even better.

What suggestions does your Dh have? I think when my boys were 12 we did the video games but also sports equipment like a portable basketball goal, roller blades, or a soccer goal, a weight set, a chin up bar for their doorway. We also did guitars or banjos around that age along with music stands cases straps etc...(they all still play) I like the wallet with gift cards idea, and the event idea too. I want to get my oldest DS28 tickets to a professional football game but I have not worked on it yet.

question: what do you get for your adult married 20 yr old son and wife? He still asks for gaming stuff when he really needs to be looking at other things they need. My kids (in-law kids included)make me list. I spend about $75.00-100.00 a piece on them and I use the list as a guide. I would shop the list according to your budget. I also like to get a few surprises for them if I can, those items they mention but don't think you can afford and then someone on Gottadeal shares a post.....

Dh has and uses the the version 11. He likes it a lot. It took a little getting use to and getting it to recognize his accent on certain words.
