  2. I have been checking the boards like crazy this morning, just hoping there is a new ad posted. I am beginning to feel like a drug addict....lol. I need an ad!!!! I know you guys can't post until you get them, I just wish someone would have mercy on us and give us something...lol.
  3. Last year, my friend and I were at our 24 hour Walmart waiting inside for 5 a.m. She waited by the electronics while I scoped out the other items on our list. This is one of the Super Walmarts with the grocery section on one side of the store and all general merchandise on the other side. The doors at the grocery part are the ones that are left unlocked all night, the others are locked for some reason. But I was waiting by a stack of toys by the locked door and saw a massive crowd of people waiting outside. I didn't understand why they didn't just go to the unlocked doors and come inside....lol. So I just watched as they looked at me and a few other people trying to figure out how we got inside. When the doors opened it was pure insanity. My friend and I got everything we came for and where headed out of the store at 5:14 a.m. Not sure how we managed that time.
  4. Charleston West By God Virginia :D

Hey, I am originally from WV. Living in NC now. My mom and I used to go to Charleston on BF. Do you go to the Town Center? We used to go there and to South Ridge shopping center. I miss shopping in the Charleston area with my mom on BF. We actually lived 1 1/2 hours from there so we had to get up really really early to go.

  5. Just an FYI, we'll probably be sending out the big "we're open" e-mail to the full mailing list early next week, so enjoy the forum now while you can before everyone starts finding their way back after Labor Day and it gets much busier :D

Also putting the finishing touches on the "BF survival kits" we're going to give away this year.

Thanks for all the work that is put in to this site. It is awesome.

  6. I went to Michael's last year. It was great. Not as crowded as the other stores but great deals all the same. I have an artistic son and they had just what I wanted. Maybe we could get a list of all the stores that are excited and co-operative with the site, so we can patrionize them. I for one am more than happy to help a store that helps me.

I agree. I love Michaels especially for Christmas crafts. I will definitely be going there on BF. I would also like to shop stores that are cooperative with this site.

  7. I usually start at Walmart, then hit Target, Kohls, and anywhere else thats having a good sale. I go to Kmart on Thanksgiving day and will go back on BF if they have good deals that aren't available on thanksgiving. I always have to go to Big Lots. I try to stay away from the mall if at all possible, but if there is a sale that I must go to I will....lol
  8. Hey im from NC too! I go to the TRU in Hickory! I love it with a 2 yr old its my FIRST stop really its not that bad the first yr we went we were late and got there at 7 or so the lines were soooo bad!!! When we got back there were like 30 people in line but i still got everything i needed!!! They did the winding lines last year but i dont think they will do that this year beacuse it just caused ciaos! I love it though!!! I can get everything my son wants and more for under 200 bucks! Its much better than walmart!!! you get really good quailty toys! unlike walmart!!!

Yay another NC Tarheel!!!. I live in Winston-Salem. My hubby has some family in the Hickory area. I will have to wait and see the ads so I can decide what I am going to do. I may have to go to TRU and send my friend to Walmart with my list.
