I finally got a few deals worth mentioning. Hit 3 different stores and each was completely different in how they were handling clearance items. Scored: Spike the Dinosaur $32 (reg $130) so excited about this so I bought 2 Geo Trax Airport $10 (reg $44) Little People NASCAR Little People motorized set $15 (reg $34) not the best deal Didj games bought 5 of them at $5 each and had a coupon for $5 off so they were free Tag books bought 5 at $3 each and I had coupons for $3 off so they were free as well. Spent $92 with tax for everything.

Hit my closest Target today and they had all the V-day stuff at 50% and tons of it, I was surprised. Got a few things, nothing special. I would love to pick up the playdoh and fillers if they are still there when they get to 75%, they also had quite a few of the heart muffin pans and baking supplies so maybe would pick up some of that if still around. Will it go 75% Wednesday you think? Side note, I have been waiting for a DS game to go to 50% and this morning would have been week 3 at 30% so I was sure it would be marked down but nope. Still waiting.

Most of our bulk went 50% off too, my DS is a size 5 so I stocked up on 5's and 6's at $12.50 a 88 diaper box if I remember correctly. Side note, I have been waiting for digital frames to go 75% off here and ended up getting a better deal at Bed Bath & Beyond B&M. The 8" Brushed Metal Pandigital Frames were org. $160 marked 50% off making them $80, used a 20% off coupon for an additional $16 off and they have a $30 mail in rebate for it, total will be $38 with tax when the rebate comes in. It's a better frame then the one at Target because it has 1GB memory compared to 512, not to mention I really liked the brushed silver better then the black wood for a couple of dollars more. You can do the coupon and rebate for any of the clearance digital frames by Pandigital (they have an 8" engravable silver plated frame that would be a great wedding or baby gift that would be $50 after the rebate and coupon). You can see them on BB&B's website to get a comparison to what Target has.

Of the people out there that have picked up the digital photo frames what day did it get marked down? I'm assuming it's housewares and I think ours went to 50% last Thursday and really want to pick a couple up for presents. Also, anyone try their's out? How is the quality? Thanks!!

I'm see that too. To be honest I am listing some things as well but at 50% off regular price and they have been selling like crazy. I figure people are always listing their used stuff at 50% off the original price so new at the same price should sell well and it has. I bought an extra of things I was getting for my son or things I was getting for gifts (like little people) or some toys that I knew would sell well at 50% and have made back quite a bit considering on some I'm only making a $8 profit. I'm lucky to have 4 Targets within 20 minutes and 2 were crazy stocked with stuff so I was able to score an extra on big items like the train tables and kitchen and they still had some left on the selves so it's not like I cleaned them out. The amazing thing is that I bought the rose petal cottage w/ the nursery, washer, and sink for around $52 total yesterday and listed it for $100 and had 8 people respond in 4 hours. The Target I got it at had probably 4 of the cottages left and tons of the extras on the selves. It's amazing, I should have bought 2 sets. Should be able to make up at least half or more of the cost on the toys that I'm keeping. My DH thinks I'm crazy, but when he sees the credit card bill he is going to be mighty happy I have a wad of cash to give him. :)

I was there early but they had 3 Sit n stand Plus and 2 of the Sit n Stand XL at 50%. Don't know how far you are from here or if they still have them this now or not.

I found a Plasma Car!!!! Thanks so much to the MelissaS for providing pictures of the box, it wasn't marked with a red tag and was with the regular priced riding toys. I probably would have missed it if I hadn't known exactly what to look for. Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!! Also picked up today the Step 2 Puppet Theater for $17 and the Step 2 Scribble Center (one sided easel for toddlers) for $7. Again neither of these items were red tagged, just at the top of the shelf on back wall so like everyone out there keeps saying look everywhere and you might just come across a gem. Oh by the way, I also got 4 Tag books (Olivia, The Little Engine Who Could, Clack, Moo, Cows That Type, and one other I can't think of off the top of my head) they were marked down to $3.48 and with my $3 off Tag books coupons I got them for .48 a piece. Good day considering no new markdowns.

Also thanks for the reminders about housewares going down to 75%, I almost forgot! I will swing by today and see what they have.

I think this is a new ballgame and they are making it up as they go. I saw items in my Target that were full price on Tuesday (scanned myself because had seen both items at 50% off at another store), on Wednesday it went to 30%, and then Thursday it was 50%. When have you seen a markdown on the exact same item in the same week? My best guess is they are trying to drag it out at 50% for an extra weekend and will finish the rest at 75% next week. That could be wishful thinking but things like Biscuit have been marked down to 50% for 3 weeks now and no movement, how much longer are they going to want it to take up all that room

Anyone out there that had some things go 75% yesterday have more go today? Just trying to figure out my plan of attack for tomorrow. I know one store that said they were marking down on Friday only because the manager didn't want to deal with all the 30%/50%/75% crap could be good but am hoping that the store that is 5 minutes from the house that has the 2 items I am looking for in stock will go 75% tomorrow and save me the drive. Your right, I saved $1800, that makes me even happier!!!! The scariest part is that tonight when I was showing my husband my haul he couldn't believe that was all I bought he thought it was going to be worse. Now that he said that I have started to think about hitting the Target in our area that didn't do any 75% today. When I was there at 2pm they had one markdown person basically just scanning people who came up to her and she told me that the manager had decided to just do everything at once tomorrow like in the past then have them mess around each day trying to mark down just a few. Might be worth a 20 minute drive to find those last few illusive items I want but if she told to to many people I will have to be there when the store opens tomorrow so another early day.

Was at Target at 8:05am, only one other person shopping with me so I had a blast! A good selection at 75% but still quite a bit at 50% but I stuck to the 75% stuff. They were almost done with markdowns by the time I got there which was nice, overall awesome experience. Can't even list all the items I got, just know that my SUV was packed completely full. In fact I was playing a bit of Tetrus just to get it to fit! I think that between the 2 stores and the 2 random big finds yesterday at 75% I am at around $600 meaning I saved $1200. CRAZY For those of you that had your stores go 75% and 50% yesterday did you stop back today to see if the 50% had gone down today? I have 2 items that were still at 50% that I really want. Thanks

Ok, I am obsessed too but my other obsession right know is with shnoop.com, which is off topic but they have been having crazy good sales on strollers!! I have to check like 10 times a day since it's a deal of the day thing, I just can't stop buying strollers. I bought 2 Valco Buggsters at $107 with shipping (reg. $295), 5 Silver Cross Micro V2's at $38 shipped (can order at BRU for $69 + shipping) , and today I decided to try the Silver Cross Dazzle at $107 Shipped ($299 retail but can be found for $250). This is in 3 days, I actually have 8 strollers being delivered to my house next week!!! To my defense I have been dying for a Buggster since I got the Valco Runabout and love it so much I bought 1 for me and one to flip on craigslist (I did the same thing with the Runabout when I caught it on at 70% off and made $100 so my Runabout ended up costing me $120 and it retails for $480 not on sale). Next I always wanted a Silver Cross since they are always wonderful and the the Micro V2's was the deal of the day the the following day, can you believe it. I snagged a couple extra for friends that are expecting or just had a baby to justify the 5. Then just today they had the Silver Cross Dazzle for $107 shipped and I just couldn't pass that up either, figured I would keep 2 or 3 out of my haul (I LOVE great strollers) and hook up a couple of friends and sell the extra one to soften the blow. See there are worst obsessions then a toy sale that happens once a year!! :)

By the way, although the 2 Targets I'm stalking daily haven't done the major 75% markdown I have noticed things inch down today but no sign changes. I had to scan quite a few things that were in the clearance section but no stickers and they were ringing up 30% so that had happened today, things like the Kid Tough Dvd Player and Digital Camera so hoping for the big drop tomorrow. I did have a couple of major scores waking around the outside edges of the toy area, at one store I found Kota for $69 and at another I found the huge Millennium Falcon for $34. They were not there yesterday or in the last week I have been going daily so either they were returns from Christmas or just pulled out of some dark corner of storage. Either way I am very happy!!

I mark it back up to 50% off and list it, it usually is gobbled right up and it covers what I paid for my item so in the end I get a free toy and someone else is still getting a pretty good deal out of it. It is tempting not to buy more then 2 after you see how fast it sells on craigslist at 50% off list. I try not to get greedy, although tomorrow if I see any Fisher Price Kid Tough DVD players I am buying them all! Not to resale but because my playgroup got together today at the park and that is the one item we all want and the first person to see them is to buy 5 and text everyone else. :)
