Best place to buy batteries is Harbor Freight. They have sales throughout the year - 24/36 batteries for $3.99 or something ridiculous like that, not sure if they have a sale right now, but worth checking out if you have one near you.

I think 2024 goes down as the worst BF in history. It was so underwhelming that I'm in a state of sadness. I miss the DVD deals, saw none. My best purchase was the $5 Melissa and Doug wooden puzzles at Walmart, but I could have bought those online and not even ventured out. To add insult to injury, I accidentally hit another vehicle in a parking lot, so my BF was very expensive with nothing to show for it!

This didn’t even feel like BF. What happened to the DVD section at Walmart? Target? The aisles were barely filled deals. Same stuff every year, but this year was the worst I can remember. I bought some towels at Kohls and a pair of Ugg. My kids are getting cash, I suppose. Not feeling it this year.

It's been this way for years and years. I think retailers know that no matter what they put in the ads, people are going to shop on BF, so there's not really an incentive to drive people to shop. It's just the same stuff - year after year. As my kids get older, toys aren't on my list, so everything is meh.

I thought this would be a fun thread for people on the fence about buying things they're not sure they want or need. I'll start - a cricut. I'm not a crafty person. I'm not sure what all it does, so convince me I need one!

Well, considering that my son has lost 3 of these already, I think I'm okay with an older version. But I will look more closely at the chromebooks and research them. Thanks for your input!

I don't think it's bad. Good deal on the chromebook; I homeschool so we always need chromebooks. The JBL speaker is something my son wants, and I want another Dyson to keep upstairs so, not bad.

How boring am I? I think I'm just burnt out on BF. I'll still shop for DVDs, it's a weird obsession of mine, but nothing excites me anymore.

They’re showing $59-$64 on Target’s site. X Box One is on sale which I picked up a few of those, but not the PS4.

This was a horrible BF! Deals were non existent, not even a $39 PS4 controller. The one PS4 game my son wanted is not even being released until after Christmas. The PS5 I ordered my husband was canceled. I'm throwing up my arms and told my family, once covid is over we're taking a vacation to Hawaii. I surrender this Christmas!

They always have them for $39.99, not seeing them this year either. My son needs a new one too!

Seemed like a lot of trouble to save $12 honestly! Walmart is still showing as processing, so I think I'm going to end up with two!

PS VR bundle is now on sale for $249. I cancelled the one I ordered at Walmart, hopefully, it'll get cancelled, and ordered through Target.

I purchased the PS VR today at the BF price instead of waiting for Target. I'm leaving on vacation on Tuesday and don't really feel like sitting in front of a computer.

I didn't need much...I got a PS VR case and a tv series.

I received a $10 gift that I won't be using. If someone wants it, just let me and I'll mail it you so it doesn't go to waste.

Are the other PSVR bundles not door busters too?? It just says $100 other bundles. I just bought it at Walmart, seems silly for Target to wait when every other retailer has it at $249 now.

Every store has the PSVR at the BF price. Target has all the PSVRs on sale, except the one I want. It's still at $349...why?? I could get it now at either Walmart or BB, but I wanted to save 5%. Anyone think this will change sometime today?? Seems strange that everything else dropped in price, except that one.
