Alas, Tom Lehrer (who is like unto a GOD) only has the one Xmas song.

QFT. Also, the soundtrack to Elf (not the score; very important) is terrific. Any of The Brian Setzer Orchestra's Xmas albums are great. Give Ultimate Soul Christmas a spin. And, if you can find it (Amazon might still have some), Blame It On Christmas!, Vol 1 (I don't think there was ever a Volume 2) is super-crazy gonzo fun. Oh, and Bob Rivers makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :)

Not likely. Accessories from the console manufacturers are just as price-fixed as the systems themselves. The best you'll do is to find some kind of bundle deal.

Odds are, there are gonna be some brand-name players (Profile 1.1) for around $150. I'm curious to see if there are any good disc deals.

My local stores are all closing (this was announced before the Chapter 11, even; btw, don't waste your time yet-- the "store closing" deals are tepid at best); I wonder how that will affect any of this.
