How about listening/watching Christmas music? Music Choice Sounds of the Season will start playing Christmas music on Weds. Nov. 2-Fri. Jan. 6,2012. I really look forward to this every year!

I agree about DaGeDar. My son who turned 12 Aug. 17, wanted these for his birthday but they weren't out yet. I will bet this will be Number One on his Christmas Wish List. I will be looking for these this season!

I got $3.50 in quarterly rewards AND BTS is now at 75%. Some of the better deals there: 500 napkins $1.49 (no more plates left), Solo type party cups (big package) $1.49, food items (ketchup,2 pack diced peaches,chips) for a quarter and those boxed items (kind of like ASOT) for $1.25. Those clip-on booklights were .49. Misc. candy items were .25. Canisters of Doritos and Fritos were .37.

Still holding at 50% off but I needed,and got,the styrofoam plates (180 ct) for $2.99 and 500 ct. napkins for the same.

Back to School items (select) 50%. I found some good food deals (.49 for a 6 pack of Lance PB Toasties). Also,those 2/$10 boxed items were $2.49.

I'm not sure of the specs but I was at Target yesterday and they have their back wall set up with Christmas decorations (the big,outdoor ones). A little incongruous with the forefront being Halloween,but it just put me in the spirit of the holiday season so I don't mind. Good luck-I hope you find what you're looking for!

Just got back from Target where I was delighted to see Christmas decorations for sale lol. Just have to pass on this good deal I came upon: Snyder's Snack Sack (found in the Halloween food aisle) 30 ct. 1/2 oz packages (best by date 1/29/12) shelf tag of $1.49 and scanned that way too! The package has $4.99 on it and this wasn't even a clearance or sale deal so I don't know why they are $1.49. I got 6 bags before Target changes its mind haha! These are the ones I usually try to score at 75% off after Halloween and am lucky to find them then. SOOO excited to find these now at this price-I couldn't believe it! The only thing that marks this as Halloween is the sack itself is an orange jack-o-lantern. HTH ### 071-950-029

Being in The Heartland of America,we are way behind the coasts for Cool Stuff,and I would never have paid any attention had I not seen it on HLN but some of the stuff is really CUTE. I only looked in the girls section and stationery though. I know the people I bought my things for will really appreciate it so it was money well spent.

Me too! I think it starts November 1? Haven't started listening yet,though.

Got lots of notebooks for five cents each and filler paper for .18 Good thing I checked the endcap in gift wrap/office supplies first as I scored some 5 and 3 subject notebooks for .78 and .68 My best find was the 4 pack of school Kleenex ( each box has 100 tissues) tag said $2.54 but rang up $1.48 and I had a couple of .50 coupons so 4 boxes for .98! 4 pack of Puffs (100 tissues each box)-tag said $2.99 but rang up $1.74 but I only a .25 coupon. Had I not watched Headline News this morning,I would not have known about the Missoni items. That stuff is HOT and apparently Target will only be carrying it for a month and many stores are already sold out of things,and it's on eBay already. I picked up a couple of things for gifts. Brown spot 50% but backpacks are only 50% (on tag and scanned).

Thanks for the head's up! I was hoping to stay outta Target for a while,but will definitely have to check out the kitchen clearance at a couple of stores. That stuff makes awesome Bridal Shower or wedding presents!

The store with the lower prices was actually a newer,more upscale store so I was surprised,but happy! Yes,the DZ is for Delta Zeta (Delta chapter) :)

I was at Glenbrook at 8:03 and was basically "late" but I got just about everything I wanted anyway. I knew Stellhorn wouldn't have anything so I high-tailed it to Jefferson Pointe and picked up the rest of the things I wanted. I feel sorry for those people who can't be there right at opening-you really don't get much of a chance of you're not. ETA: Funny that things were cheaper at the Orchard Crossing (original price and 75% off) store!

Don't know where you're located,but I am always there at opening (8 a.m.) and have great luck then. Good luck! :)
