I would also recommend the 32 gb. My kids love having movies also, and that requires alot of space.

Updated Info-Disney Shake It Up Dolls Release Date
Buckeye Shopper replied to Buckeye Shopper's topic in 2011
I know, I notice the Alex Russo doll is selling higher on Amazon already. I was hoping it would pop up on TRU website for a preorder. -
I seen this at target, I think it said it was a target exclusive?

Ok guys...I finally found out some information on the shake it up dolls. I talked to a very helpful person at mattel this morning. The dolls will not be in the stores until November. She still did not give me a date but explained they are being released this month but will not hit store shelves until the holiday season . I know this theory was posted in another thread...looks like you were right:(. Now some additional info the name of these dolls to retailers are Disney Twin Shake It Up Living Doll item #V1020. She said retailers might be able to use this information to get more detailed info when it will actually arrive at the stores. Remember these dolls are being released to Walmart and Toysrus. I'm sorry I don't have the time to go any further with this. If anyone has time to check with the retailers, let us know what you find. Thanks!

Christmas Music! Who's listening? (besides me lol)
Buckeye Shopper replied to angelbabymommy's topic in 2011
Our local station starts playing the week of Thanksgiving, that's when I start listening. However, I break out the Christmas movies much earlier. We've already watched The Santa Clause 2 & 3, The Grinch, and Home Alone 1 & 2. -

How about and electric scooter?

I agree with other posters. I think a wii would be a better fit for a 5 yr. old, there are so many game options plus the mario games are great. I can't imagine a xbox, or ps3 would get much use, the games are so mature.

Are They Holding These For BF? (Disney VIP Shake it up Dolls)
Buckeye Shopper replied to bfaddict1977's topic in 2011
I just posted a similar post in deal finder. I cannot get a response from anyone on a firm release date. This is what I know, they're being released in October to toysrus and walmart, no other stores were mentioned. I have called walmart and toysrus, nobody knows anything. Even mattel couldn't give me a date. This is #1 on my dd Christmas list and I think it's going to be a hot little item. -
Disney Shake It Up Dolls
Buckeye Shopper replied to Buckeye Shopper's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Yes, I think those were released in July or August. -
I was hoping someone on here might know the exact date these dolls are being released. I have called Walmart, Toysrus, and even mattel, and cannot get an exact time from anyone. I know they are being released this month to Toysrus and Walmart. My hope was that someone might have privileged info to pass on. I would be happy just to have an idea when they're going to be available for sale. There dolls are my daughter #1 Christmas request, and I have a felling they might be pretty popular. If anyone has info, please let me know. Thanks!

Any chance anyone has pdf of TRU big book from last year?
Buckeye Shopper replied to stacya's topic in 2011
I think it depends what day halloween falls on, the ad always follows halloween. This year halloween falls on Monday, so I'm assuming the Big Book will come out 11/6. -
With The Economy This Year Are You Cutting Back for Black Friday?
Buckeye Shopper replied to bfaddict1977's topic in 2011
We are also self employed, we have seen drastic improvements with our business. I am cautiously optomistic. I tend to be overly generous with people at Christmas. Every year I tell myself I'm going to cut back, but I never do. I have prepared the kids that we do intend on spending less this year. I'll let you know how that works out;) -
I can tell you that churches are bombarded at Christmas for help. We always contribute to families in need. Internationally, I would recommend Samaritan's Purse-Operation Christmas Child. This is a great opportunity to teach your children about giving to children who are truly in need.

Have you started shopping yet for holidays 2011?
Buckeye Shopper replied to momof3luvs1's topic in 2011
I haven't bought anything yet. I usually buy my first gift around this time of year, but I really have no idea what to get everyone this year. My kids are moving out of the toy age, and it's getting a little depressing. My daughter still likes barbies and american girl things, but beyond that I really don't know. -
Add me to the list too...I found some price drops at Lowes but nothing major, and not what I was looking for. I'm guessing this is a really late season markdown because people use them so late into the fall season.

Thank you, what I'm interested in isn't on sale. The only kind of code I could find was for sale items. -
Gift ideas for my 9-year old daughter?
Buckeye Shopper replied to 92Hoosier's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
The wooden letters were pink glitter with scrolled edges, my 9 yr. old loved them. My 12 y. old has the metal ones that look distressed kind of like license plates. -

If you go the route of redecorating her room, check out hobby lobby for wall accessories and such. They have really cute things for a tween room. I really like the bedding sets that JC Penney offers, and you can get them at a pretty reasonable prce. We just moved, and when we decorated my daughters room, we chose a wall quote for above her bed, curtains with beads, and glitter letters from hobby lobby that spells out her name on an adjascent wall. She's turning ten, and loves it. Another idea, I bought my dd a vanity for her 9th. birthday, she's really getting into getting all girled up.
