Last year I went to my Walmart (in quite a busy city) at about 11am and there were tons of games left. To be safe, though, I'd say get there at least at opening to have first crack at them.

Anyone think Amazon will do a $200 laptop and $400 desktop like Walmart, Best buy, etc? I sure hope so!! Less stress that way, no lines and wrist bands. LOL

I know, love that!! I was at Target yesterday and I dared my mom or brother to do that, but they wouldn't. LOL

The weather man on the news tonight addressed all the crazy BF shoppers of Minnesota - he said, "For all you Black Friday shoppers that line up at stores, wear everything you have in the house...then go buy a new jacket and wear that, too. It's gonna be freezing!" lol It's gonna snow here Wednesday and part of Thanksgiving. Then it's going to get super cold. Snow, I don't mind, but I'm not ready for 9 degree weather yet. lol

Anyone think Amazon will do a $398 desktop bundle like Walmart is? Have they done desktop bundles in the past?

I sure hope they price match Target's $27 Lego Harry Harry Potter Wii game so I can avoid electronics dept. crowds and not have to pay shipping.

I'm stressin' a little bit! I am going to Walmart at midnight to grab video games, movies and that sort of thing. My mom wants me to get my hands on one of the computers and printers that go on sale at 5am. This may or may not throw a kink into my plans!! I was going to be at Wally at midnight, then head next store to Target by 4am, then back to Walmart at 5, but if I'll need to be in line all night to get wristbands or tickets, this could change things. I'm really hoping Amazon has a sweet computer deal before BF so I can get that outta the way and just be stress free on Black Friday...no lines, tickets or wristbands! LOL But, I am excited and am ready for my first all night BF shopping spree.

What a stupid policy. It is coming directly from your bank account, so they shouldn't be able to tell you how much you can spend!!

Me, too!! News this morning said we're getting an arctic blast next week, just in time for BF! Time to freeze!! But, I'm going hell or high water. LOL I'm mixed over all these insane start times. Part of me thinks it's gonna be NUTS, especially at Walmart. But, then again, people could stagger in at any time throughout the night at Wally and it might not be too insane. I just don't know. LOL Sleep is not happening this year!

The dog food with a free gift card is a good deal. LOL Lots of toy deals, but nothing I need really. Might get the Dog Chow!

Target has been updating their Black Friday page. It has a countdown now, a video and hopefully the store maps soon! :) It says to check daily for new tips. That lady in the video is funny. lol

I've been thinking about this too. I usually get a cart and slowly but surely make my way throughout the store. If I need to ditch it momentarily in an empty aisle, I do. BUT, with Wally opening all night this year, I think my store might be too nuts to have a cart. lol And if someone even tries to steal it, there's gonna be trouble. LOL

Thanks! That's what I've been wondering, too. I'd like to be able to shop at midnight, get a wristband, then shop freely some more. Not have to wait in the same spot all night. lol

I don't think you'll need bands for the DS lites. Last year they were on pallets and you were able to grab as many as you wanted. Don't see why it would be any different this year, especially since the systems are a little older and not as high in demand as when they were brand new. :)
