Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2008
luvbargainz replied to Gator Pam's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Today swim/Speedo was 30% off. Some gardening was 30-50% off including tools, clogs, gloves. Grills starting to be clearanced. Lots of men's shorts & swim trunks 50-75% off. Still a little bit of 75% off toys and baby (mostly Dwell stuff). -

A heads up to those looking for clearance baby stuff (strollers, car seats, high chairs, etc.) check the whole store. Saw a ton randomly placed on shelves near school supplies/gardening. Checked the baby section and nothing was marked clearance there. They had items ranging from 15%-50% off. Some I could jot down DCPI's for: ###030-09-1673 Graco Alano Stroller $94.98 (50% off) ###030-09-1761 Fisher Price Galloping Fun Jumperoo $35.48 (50% off) ###030-09-1462 Eddie Bauer High Chair $64.98 (50% off) I didn't scan any of the items because I wasn't going to buy, so it's possible they could have rung up lower than marked. Carseats and boosters were only marked 15% off. -

From the 30% off bulk section: ### 231-03-0020 Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal 2-pack $3.48 It's normally that price for one box, and it had a sticky coupon on the front for a free half-gallon of Silk soy milk up to a $4.99 value, good until the end of the year. -
Got some more deals at a different Kohl's - 2 pairs of Seven jeans for $11.XX each (80% off), they fit a lot nicer and are longer than my Old Navy jeans. They are also offering $10 in Dillards bucks (or whatever they call it) with every $50 purchase, but you have to spend it between certain dates (next week, I think...) Checked out the Vera Wang stuff, a lot of it was 90% off and I still wouldn't want it, seemed poorly made and tailored IMHO. OK, sorry, I'm done with this thread, I guess I just got excited by my first Kohl's experiences
-
You are awesome, thanks a bunch! Guess I'm off to the Coach Outlet then.
-
Darn it, I was just there and forgot to check for deals for DH's B-day (looking for myself only, selfish, selfish...) Anyone know if they sell Coach men's wallets/belts at Dillards, and if so, whether they are on sale? I know the Macy's near me does not sell men's, wondering if Dillards is the same way.

Hehe, I feel like I'm missing out on the toy craze, no toy-age kids in the family right now! I did pick up: ### 041012648 Champion C9 Men's Duo Dry Shorts, gray/red, $3.74 (75%) Also all NASCAR was 50% off. Anyone have any idea when the swim/pool stuff might get marked down? I'm waiting for goggles/caps, right now they are cheaper at Kohl's or Ross but bad selection. -
Quick update, went back to the first Kohl's I went to and they had one whole rack marked 90% off. Got some great deals, including some Danskin fitness tops for $3.XX. Guess I will be stopping in there more often.
-
Thanks for the info. It must vary a lot from store to store also, I went to a different Kohl's today and their clearance stock was not nearly as plentiful or deeply discounted. So YMMV.
-
My KOHLS had racks and racks of clearance throughout the store, with signs saying "star clearance". The items were organized into 60%, 70%, and 80% off, and organized by size. I found quite a few items that were 90% off. Saw a bunch of the Vera Wang stuff if anyone is interested. I asked a staff member how long the sale had been going on, and she sort of stared at me (in a nice but incredulous way) and said "it's continual, we always have it." Since this was pretty much my first trip to Kohls I can't attest to whether that's true or not; I did get a big bag of stuff for $69 (all fitness stuff). BTW, all women's fitness apparel was 50% off.

Perused two stores, most of these were only on clearance at one or the other: ### 056130100 Kodak Easyshare SV811 Digital Photo Frame $74.98 (50% off) ### 056100566 Kodak Easyshare C813 8 MP Digital Camera and Printer Dock $89.98 (50% off) ### 072070012 Dyson Animal $349 (30% off) ### Select fragrances 75% off (Azarro Onyx, Lauren Style, Lancome Hypno, Sean John, Phat Farm, Old Spice Signature, Stetson Black, and Flair) ### Select natural beauty products 50% off (Alba, Avalon Organics, Jason, Kiss My Face) ### BBQ tools 75% off ### Victoria Hagen household decor 75% off The HUGE SuperT near me had patio at FULL PRICE still, and very few clearance items. I figure they just have so much room they don't need to move it out so quickly. Toys were only 50% at both stores. Some bulk items were 30%. -

I'm in north Texas, outdoor furniture was 75% off at one store on Thursday night and it was flying out the door and very picked-over; went to another store yesterday and it was almost all full price!!! I just don't get it...I think my dream of finding a cheap umbrella might be dashed... I did find some cute beach towels 75% off for 2.XX each. -

They had restocked a lot of departments with college stuff and decor in fall/winter type colors. -

Target brand generics of smoking cessation products 30% off (gum and patches). Graduation '08 75% off, lots of it left, including cute photo frames. I also saw the 50% off pressure washers, also 50% off wet/dry shop vacs. -

It was a section of seasonal summer stuff, also known as "whim". Colorful outdoorsy items like plastic tablewear, coolers, beach and sports stuff. It's pretty much long gone now since it already clearanced for 90% off. My Target had a TON of 30% off, almost every endcap. 30% doesn't excite me much anymore, but I will be keeping my eyes peeled! -

Saw a lot of 50% off on endcaps and in the aisles, some 75% off. Stuff I remember: HP printers, an All-in-one and a Photo, 50% off (around $50). HP ink cartridges and paper are on sale right now too. Hannah Montana 75% off (looks like they are making room for Rock Camp and various other Disney). Select colors of bath rugs, towels, sheets and drapery, anywhere from 30% to 75% off. A lot of random one-of-a-kind stuff on endcaps (not internet returns, didn't see any of those today). On a sad note, the chocolate was still only 50% off and the wine was all gone. No cheap pet food. No bar stools, or any furniture to speak of. Patio furniture looked the same as last week - some 30%, a few 50%, most full price. I should note this was at a high-traffic Super Target where I don't find too many bargains anyway. -

I've seen cheap pet food too, I saw Cesar dog food for .18 each. My spoiled dog gets the holistic stuff so I didn't buy it (yep, she eats better than we do, LOL), but I just realized it might make a welcome donation to a shelter or rescue group, has anyone ever done that? I'm new to my area so I guess I need to make some calls to the local SPCA to see if they'd accept it. -

CR/Whim was 90% off here, too. Only one endcap left, mostly tableware and drink mixers/rim sugar. Glad I grabbed an ice tea pitcher at 75% off. No cute sprinklers, I never even saw those when it was full price! I've seen chrome and black swiveling barstools 50% off, in 24" and 30" (counter and bar height), at several area Targets. Some had a lot, so they may go even cheaper. -

They will not do price adjustments for clearance (if you buy an item at 30% off and it goes to 50% off), but I have never had a problem getting price adjustments for full-price items that go on sale. I believe the price-adjustment policy is printed on their receipts? I have had problems with staff not knowing how to do a price adjustment, but eventually they figure it out! -
Ulta clearance deals - up to 85% off
luvbargainz replied to luvbargainz's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Bummer, it's a fun store, but overpriced (except when they have good sales). They have good deals online sometimes, but not clearance, it's in-store only. I used to live in an area where there were no major chain retailers and just a tiny mall, then I visited Las Vegas and I couldn't believe all the strip malls and gallerias! Now I am in the land of the strip mall -
Ulta clearance deals - up to 85% off

Ulta is kind of like Trade Secret meets Sephora meets Walgreens. It's a beauty super store that sells fragrances, makeup and hair stuff, both drugstore and prestige brands. You can check it out at ulta.com. They're usually in newer/nicer strip malls. -
My local Ulta had a TON of clearance items at really good prices. Normally they have one sad little section of one aisle that has pretty lousy deals. This time they had one whole aisle and several tables throughout the store with clearance deals. I scored: Vidal Sassoon ceramic hair dryer, regularly $22.99, sale $5.99 American Crew Forming Cream with bonus 6 oz Tea Tree Shampoo, reg $14.95, sale $3.99 Biosilk Shampoo/Conditioner/Silk Therapy trio, reg $24.99, sale $5.99 Redken All Soft Silk Fuel, reg $15.95, sale $7.99 Essie nailpolish, various (retired?) shades, reg $7, sale $2.99 OPI nailpolish, various (retired?) shades, reg $8.50, sale $1.99 They had a lot of shampoo sets for cheap, inlcuding Redken, Nioxin, KMS, Schwarzkopf, Tigi, etc. Also a lot of random, one-of-a-kind items, both drugstore and high-end. I checked their website, sometimes they have printable coupons you can use in store, but they don't this week. Their weekly ad mentions the clearance on the back page and it says up to 85% off while supplies last.

Our Cynthia Rowley is 50% off. Have also seen the two Dysons 30% off (Target Red and Slim). Lots of plastic organizers/storage 50% off. Hannah Montana stuff 30% off. Scored some 50% off wine, good stuff too! They had brands like Clos du Bois, Ravenswood, Smoking Loon, and others I didn't recognize from Australia and France; varietals were Merlot, Shiraz, Zin, Chard, Sov Blanc, Cab, and my fave, Malbec. Saw some of those "wine cubes" too, which we tried a while back and didn't care for -

Fellow chocoholics, I saw lots of fancy chocolate bars on clearance for 50% off (brands like Green & Black Organic, Endangered Species, Ritter and Lindt). It was mostly dark chocolate, but some milk and some Hersheys (bagged Reese's). It killed me to have to leave without any, but I had another stop and didn't want a chocolate puddle in my car! -

Hi maxndeals, I'm in the Dallas area too! I only saw select items on sale, maybe they are waiting until after July 4th to do the rest? I will keep my eye out though, I need cushions and an umbrella. I'm starting to see gardening items on clearance also (pruners, fertilizers, etc)
