I'll be there to cause trouble and chaos, like I did last time Hopefully I can verify most of the info in the 2010 GDCC and get the latest update with all the new ads in time for the webcast. Then maybe I can convince BigJim to give 'em a few shout-outs. It's a good thing I don't have a webcam myself. Still a lil' sick and don't want everyone to see me in my jammies all bundled up in my sheets.

Just checked out the official specs from VISIO: VIZIO’s E420VO 42” Class (42.02 inch diagonal) LCD HDTV , and you're right! It is only two HDMI ports as well as no S-Video. I'll be fixin' that. I gotta verify most of the ports info and specific details in these charts, anyways.

Because there hasn't been any desktops or lappys in the ads until just recently. Far as the previous years that's pretty much all I've ever done. Check again friday mornin' and see if there's a lil' surprise waitin' for you or anyone wantin' electronics items for BF.

For the average in the Phoenix, AZ area it's supposed to be about 47 degrees when the doors open at 4am. We gotta wait 'til next week to see the more 'official' forecast for BF.

On the subject of intermission/potty breaks, how about showing commercials for the stores? Perhaps make a video of the ads and cycle through 'em a page at a time? Although I do love those intermission cartoons from old drive-thru movies.

Never heard of that one. I loved it, and it's karaoke!

Now that we've got one out of the four major ads in there's still three more we're waitin' for: Target, Best Buy, and Wal-(Dont-Release-Me-Until-Its-Time)-Mart. Scratch that. Target has landed

Crackin' the whip on my team this week. Now that we've finally got one of the major ads in we're gonna have a big supprise for everyone on friday, the 2-week warning for BF.

Or maybe BigJim should find a soda/bottled water manufacturer to sponsor the next webcast. The last webcast I think he ran out a few times. Maybe he has a GD cup or mug? Maybe Brad can send him a case of GD bottled water? Oh, and since BigJim said I should put this out there, I think I will. What to y'all think should be his theme song for the webcasts? I'm thinkin' 'For the Love of Money' by the O'jays. 'Money money moooooooney ... moooooooooney!'

For what it's worth, I still got the transcript from the chat portion of the last webcast. Not sure exactly what to do with it. Did Johnny's class get to do their part of the webcast last time? It'd be fun if we can try to arrange the webcast around a time where he and his class could be on.

After all the juicy tidbits we got about BigJim the last time, I wonder what surprises we'll discover about him this time. I'll be there. :)

Four hours of web chattin' about BF. Whew! Great job, BigJim! Had a great time. Lots of good info on BF and shopping. Lots of juicy bits about BigJim as well. BTW, BigJim, just in case ya wanted it I got a transcript of the chat.

Is there a was a way we could work out the time difference between us here in the US and Johnny in Japan so his students can participate live with the rest of us? Perhaps adjust the start time or lengthen out the end time?

I have a bad feelin' Brad's life is about to get a bit more busy. The longer it takes for these ads to show up the less time he has to get 'em online.

Was surfin' youtube and I think I stumbled across your old 2008-2009 youtube webcasts. www.youtube.com/user/blackfridaynetwork This time last year, ya were reportin' the K-Mart BF ad:

Instead of wearin' a striped sweater it'd be a Walmart vest, and instead of a glove on my hand I'd be holdin' a legal paper stating ' NO ADS RELEASED UNTIL 11/24'! Oh! The humanity!

As much as we all want ya to wake up from this awful dream, I'm afraid your true nightmare is yet to come. Ya know which one I'm talkin' about? The one where all the major ads get released at the exact same time and at the last possible minute. Sweet dreams.

Just outta curiosity, how much stuff have ya put the GD name/logo on? Are ya keepin' track? Off the top of my head I've seen shirts, coats, tote bags, shopping bags, backpacks, pens, pencils, stickers, clips, and calculators just to name a few.

I thought I saw GD t-shirts on that store. But winnin' one from Brad is more fun as he adds that personal touch to it. Or, in my case, payin' him a few bucks.

I've had dreams of bein' trampled by a crowd. Dunno if it was a BF line crowd or not.
