I got my secret santa gift Tuesday and opened last night. THANK YOU to my secret santa. I got four gifts. A bag of Lindhor chocolates for the Chocoholic in me, a leather wallet, a bag of cookie mix and my favorite:D a Vera Bradley black and pink elephant book cover. Imagine my surprise to see it was the same pattern as two Vera Bradley items (backpack and hip purse) I already have at home. Very good selection. I will take pictures as soon as I can and post.

Finishline.com had them on sale for 19.99 for kids/mens sizes. I ordered a pair here yesterday. do a search for healy and finishline should come up. HTH.

I stopped by their store about 5:00 am and practically no traffic. There was not really much of a sale. Heard one of the sales rep's say that they had a better sale last week and they had originally planned to have $4-5 dollar items and corporate cancelled a few days before. They had buy 3 get 2 free.... that's about it. I heard the manager on her headset telling the floor salespersons to really push the VIP bags cause they really weren't offering any great sales. I had three coupons that help make it worthwhile for me, but I felt the VIP bag wasn't a great deal since they weren't really offering me big enough savings to warrant spending $15 to get it. The manager was pushing me to get one and I passed. However, for those that want one, I'm sure stores have some. People were turning around and walking out the stores when they realized they didn't have a major sale or not getting the VIP bags at all. Good luck getting one.

OK, I got my ornaments from this week. I got three angel ornaments. Thank you very much to my secret ornament exchange person. I got the package Wednesday, but was sure If I should wait to open. So, I did.

Don't feel bad............All I know is what the packages say........Series one and Series two. I do know the Series two are slightly larger than series one based on previous comments. I'm sure capabilities and card are specific for one and two. I just grabbed cause they are so hard to find and figured my son would explain to me later.

I happened to swing by Wal-mart yesterday and they had several starter packs and single packs of Bakugans products in stock. A member even came and put more up while I was there. It was series one and two.

Eve, sorry to hear about the job situation. Times are extremely hard for everyone and it is sad that they would do that at this time of year. However, anytime is not a great time for it. Keep us posted and we will keep you in our prayers.

I agree that going back should be the main key. I have accidentally walked out with items under bags of paid for items that I honestly forgot to pay for with the other items. When I discovered this I took the items back inside and the folks were surprised and thanked me for being honest. I agree about the folks on the "where did the free boots link go" Come on folks..........FREE without a buy something deal:no: That employee that screwed that up does not think that is funny right about now. We are on GOTTADeal not GOTTASteal.

Several closing around me in Memphis, Collierville and Springhill TN area. One near Wolfchase mall still open though. Not that I shop there often though so I wouldn't miss it if it closed. However, if they got some good closeout deals:D

Mind you I just got a Wii for my DS11 soon to be 12 and I had to add to starter collection. They had a Wii Play for 49.99 that was counted and I got Mario Galaxy and Mario battle brawlers or something or other:yup: Wasn't a bad deal considering we have no games. Thanx

I camp out my first initiation by myself. DH thought I was nuts:yup: Last year I ordered on line and went out by myself. While I would like to have someone with me shopping, I am happy not to be held up by someone else. Now if I had a fellow Gottadeal member, who understood the importance of seek, find, buy and move on and repeat. That would be great. ALAS, I don't have any takes. I've watched these discussions for a while now. This is the law of supply and demand. Who wants it the most. If you want popular concert tickets, you camp out to get them. What happens if other in from of you buy more to sell? Nothing, unless they set limits on how many you can buy. I camped out the first time at Best buy 2006 to get (2) laptops and a desktop. I was in the first 20 something in line. As the night progressed and I chatted with folks, I heard the first 10 or so did this yearly to sell stuff on EBAY. Hey, there was no guarantee I was going to get one, but I took my chances and it paid off. I can't be angry at the folks ahead of me in line looking to sell their tickets or sell the items on-line. They got there way before me and we willing to sacrifice their time and effort to do so. Yeah there were multiple family members or friends in line getting tickets for the same items. I just wanted the items I was camping out for and hoped I was one of the lucky ones. I did happen to be, but if the person ahead of me got the last ticket and sold it to someone after me. I wouldn't have been upset at him. Just myself that I couldn't have gotten there earlier. If you want items badly enough, you gotta get there in time to do so.

I got a gift card for $10 in the mail from Kohl's today for use starting Nov 5th, wish it was extended to use for black friday. Just a quick question do you get more discounts on bf by having a Kohl's credit card. Was thinking about applying for one this weekend to use then and see if I can get any other discount coupons for bf?
