I'm mainly in need of a new laptop with window 7 already on it. However, I recently saw that Barnes and Nobles is releasing its own e-reader called Nook, which will be release Nov 30. However, they are taking pre-orders at $260. Yeah, I know expensive. However, it allows sharing of e-books and has many other features over Kindle. I've been eyeing the Kindle for a while and I just have not gotten it. I'm a big B&N fan and I like the idea of being able to connect on it, while at B&N. I also want an Ipod touch. Laptop B&N Nook e-reader Ipod touch B&B items pajamas Will have to see what I'll end up getting.

I've been looking for the notice too this year. I did SS 2008 for first time and had a blast. I agree it was fun looking out for cards and gifts. Hope Eve is up to it this year. I would love to do it again.

I voted the same. I do the Christmas club each year, but I am working on gifts already. I figure with the economy I will try to get good deals when I find them.

I bought two laptops in 2006 for my husband and I. Plus, a desktop for my son. All under $1000.... Well, the desktop died and the laptops are looking beat up and out of date. Got a laptop already for my son and one on the way for myself. So, I need one more for my DH. I hate I missed the deal at Bestbuy this weekend. I thought about it to long.

So glad to see the elves are paying special attention to those that didn't get something on time. Looking forward to next exchange. great gifts though.

Nikkilugi - Guess I was lost with Eve's computer issues, but I was your SS Elf. Also, those ornaments I sent you are also place holder for seating assignments on the table or you can use them to label appetizer for buffet. Put place card in top of them. I was so happy to do it. Especially since you were my OE, I knew what you liked already. It was funny I told Eve I already had some things for you THat I forgot to put in your OE package, until after it was mailed. It was still here. :D

Thanks to all for the cards. Sorry to hear about those that have not received them. I was so excited to be allowed to participate that I bought early and mail early. I wanted to stay on the good girl list for next year, if Eve can stand it again. Hopefully, something shows up or the elfs can follow through. Heck, at this point, I volunteer to go buy something for one and FEDEX it. Let me know!

It is so good to see everyone enjoying their ss gifts and ornaments. I love reading everyone's exciting description of what they got. I got four more cards today and added them to my christmas card tree stand. I'll have to take a picture when I get them all. Thanks so much for all the cards.
