Almost everything I wanted I ordered on the Best Buy Early Access sale on Monday. The only thing I didn't get was Maleficent on BD. It appeared online later in the week but was sold out. Went down last night to grab one. Got there at 4:30 and was out by 5:10. And that was also picking up an online order of the 32" Samsung Smart TV and SOA Season 6. And wouldn't you know it. Maleficent is now available online again. Oh well it got me out of the house while dinner was cooking. I will also note it was amazing the amount of people that got there at the same time and a little after and started crying foul because they were already sold out of the $199 Panasonic TV. States in the ad tickets are handed out 2 hours prior. You want a deal that good you need to get there early. Don't expect to roll up 30 minutes before opening and expect to grab one of the biggest doorbusters.

Yeah I just did a test run of that. Must be certain doorbusters only. Guess they figure if they put everything online no one will come to the store.

Ugh!!! Just realized that Maleficent is in store only. The only thing on my list I can't order online. Hoping Wal-Mart has it online. Not gonna fight crowds for one freaking thing.

Some more of the BF items are on sale now. I'm grabbing the 32" Samsung Smart TV for $249. It is $247 in the BF ad. I'll pay the extra $2 to avoid the hassle.

It is usually everything in their ad with the exception of items that say in store only. In the past years it has been the Monday before Black Friday.

I had it happen the last two years but not this year. I grabbed the lightning deal and checkout out but it charged me regular price. Called CS and they did an adjustment.

Understandable. But there are many people like myself so are grandfathered in on Verizon's unlimited data plan. The only option in keeping it besides adding a line is to pay full retail. And I will add the X is an awesome phone. I tried it out for a few weeks. But I wanted a bigger screen if I was paying full retail. Tap'd from my LG G2

Are you talking about the big Sharpie set that had them in a circle in the packaging??? If so I remember walking by a whole display of them yesterday. I only noticed because the package looked cool.

This is the exact reason I will never go BF shopping for a big ticket item. Seriously the cheap TV's are just that. Cheap TV's. Dumbed down versions regular release versions. I go for movies and smaller stuff and let the idiots fight over the junk. How embarrassing it must be to tell your family and boss you are sitting in jail for fighting over a TV.

Anyone else suffer from this?? Impulse buy at a great price and then find cheaper online or somewhere else a few days later and then return the original purchase??? Not too bad for me this year. Just a few movies that I grabbed early access at Best Buy and then found several dollars cheaper at amazon.

Wal-Mart wasn't bad. In and out in about an hour with everything I was after. Best Buy pretty easy to move around. Rode by Target an hour before opening and the line wrapped completely around the building. Never saw that many people thee before. Was really weird going into Wal-Mart this afternoon and it was like a normal shopping day. Plenty of the doorbusters sitting around. Still was able to grab a few movies I missed last night.

My position on the waitlist never came up. Oh well. But it did for Brave so I grabbed that one.

Waited, watched, clicked on it when the timer was up and already 100% claimed and no waitlist. Must have taken a total of 2 seconds to sell out.Wow!!! I was only hoping to grab the combo with the ultraviolet because the one I got at Walmart was the 2-pack BD-DVD. Oh well. EDIT: Ok waitlist just opened back up. Only over 500 ahead of me. LOL

You can download Classic Shell which makes Win8 act like Win7 or XP. Gives you the older folder style, an actual start menu, the ability to bypass the splash screen and get rid of charms. It made me actually like using my laptop. I personally hate Win8. It is a primarily a touchscreen OS.
