Gotcha. Didn't look at the ad on walmart.com. I'm thinking I am gonna try to get the 50LM through Radio Shack or Best Buy. Most other places it is an early bird special. Or maybe amazon.com will have it at that price or even lower. I get an additional 10% off.
-
Has anyone been able to confirm what the model number is for the Garmin 5" GPS in the Walmart ad??? Every other retailer seems to have the 50LM for $99. Just wondering if that is the one they are advertising.

I got a little worried because I got an e-mail last night saying it was back-ordered and not to expect it for 1-2 weeks. But this afternoon I got another e-mail saying it had shipped.
-
Took 2 hours but finally got my order in for the 24" Dynex. I called because it seemed like the site crashed and my cart was all of a sudden empty. Called and they said they were doing something to the system and to try again (call or online) in 30 minutes. Went back to the BB site the normal way and logged in and it was in my cart again.

The one thing I wanted from Best Buy, the Init TV stand, is gonna cost $69.99 to ship and it costs $99.99. Looks like I have to venture to the store tomorrow morning before work. This is a really nice stand BTW. We have one for our 40". Wanted to get another for the 55".

HTC Droid Eris FREE at Best Buy Verizon Wireless

Wow sounds like you got a real jerk. I am on a few phone forums and have read many people getting their renewal upgrades as much as 3 months early. -
HTC Droid Eris FREE at Best Buy Verizon Wireless
Monstermile replied to Monstermile's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Even tough I posted this deal I will never again if my life depended on it attempt to deal with Best Buy for anything like this. We went in to get three phones and port over from AT&T. They ran everything through and it came back saying we needed $125 deposit per line. And we both have excellent credit. Long story short it took several dealings with Verizon phone reps, Tele-Credit and finally someone in a Verizon corporate store to discover that the idiots at Best Buy had ran the application through with many mistakes. Not once but twice. And it red flagged us. Made it look like we were trying to commit identity theft. We ended up getting everything taken care of at the corporate store. And the manager actually got us our three phones (Eris, enV Touch and enV3) for $79.99 after rebates. -

The Droid is by Motorola and the Eris is made by HTC. Both are smart phones that run the Android operating system. The Droid has a bigger display (3.7" vs 3.2") that has a higher resolution, pull out qwerty keyboard and slightly faster processor. The Eris is smaller and does not have an actual qwerty keyboard. It is all touch screen. Both are very nice phones. -
FREE with new 2yr contract and $49.99 with 2yr upgrade. Price good 12-26 - 1/09.

Go for the refurb straight from apple. You will save money and still get a full warranty. From what I have heard refurbs tend to be better than new because they are tested looked over thoroughly before being resold. Not like a new one that goes down an assembly line and maybe tested for a second. I have a nano 3rd gen 8gb black (impossible color to find in the 3rd gen) and have never had a problem. Just bought my son a nano 4th gen 8gb for $99 with free shipping. You can't even tell they are refurbs. New outer shell, box and all new accessories. CLICKITY-CLICK

Walmart Wii Deal Starts 12/5 $199 w/ $50 GC
Monstermile replied to KoopawnKode's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Good luck with that. I've tried that a few times at BB and WM and they always say that freebies do not qualify for a price adjustment because the price is the same. Same reason stores will not price match freebies. -
$99 period??? No $199 with gift cards or whatnot?? If so for that price I may buy a spare. My drive is starting to make some squealing noises so I am sure it is going out soon and I am long out of warranty. And I am on my third one after two RROD's. Good thing is the new consoles have HDMI out. Mine doesn't. Slap on my hard drive and I am good to go.

Another reason I love Amazon!
Monstermile replied to utkscvol1's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Did you have to tickle him to get the price adjustment??? Seriously though I got some great deals on amazon. Between their price matching an beating competitors ads in advance of BF and some of the other great deals, I saved alot of money and frustration this season. -
Lots of good prices on older movies on blu-ray.

Colorful wireless computer mouse

My wife actually pointed them out in the ad. Grabbing two purples. One for mom and one for MIL and a blue one for me. This purple looks better than the Logitech which was more plum. -

I learned that buying the majority of my stuff online at or below BF prices and sleeping in is much better than getting up early, waiting in lines and fight crowds. Thank you amazon.com!!! -
How is this laptop still in stock?since yesterday?? Walmart
Monstermile replied to hpnyr's topic in Online Hot Deals
Personally I would not own a PC without an AMD processor. Every PC I have bought and built for the last 12 years has had an AMD processor. Never had a problem. I bought the Acer Aspire AS6530-6522 from Best Buy a few months ago for $329. Has similar specs to the one above except mine has... AMD Athlon™ X2 Dual-Core Processor QL-62 (1MB L2 cache, 2.0GHz) 3GB of DDR2 Dual Channel Memory @667MHz 250GB SATA hard drive, rated at 5400rpm speed 16" HD Widescreen CineCrystal LED-backlit Display 3 USB ports Other than that the specs are the same. As far as the op's question I think the price is what is keeping people away from this one. This time of year everyone is looking for a $200-$300 laptop or netbook. -

Official One-and-Only "What I Got" / "My BF Experience" Thread
Monstermile replied to Brad's topic in 2009
First year in a while I didn't go out. Thanks to Amazon price matching and beating ads I got alot of stuff early. My wife headed out this morning around 3am to get to Sears by 4am. She hit Sears, Staples, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Kohls, Home Depot and Lowes and was home by 8am. She said the worst was Wal-Mart. That took her over an hour alone. People trying to horde and argue over the doorbusters. In several cases they had to review security tapes to see who was in line first. Apparently this Wal-Mart didn't play by the rules. Everywhere else she said 10-15 minutes max. And we got everything on the list which included no doorbusters. Our big ticket items are being ordered online and there is no rush. The biggest thing I was after today was the Memorex iPod alarm clock at Staples for $25. Got two. -

Glad this deal is still going on. Tried to buy it at work on my mobile but it would only let me put it in my cart but not check out. -

Either Staples or Office Depot had the Logitech V220 on sale for $19.99 a few days ago. Lots of different solid colors and a few patterns. Do a Google Shopping search for that model and you might find a close or better price.
