Maybe it was my creepy mail carrier. I have my suspicions, neighbors always get ads/samples/etc that I don't! I have yet to get mine--and I know I had one at this time last year (my son had TRU and Target both out side by side, circling what he wanted :) as TRU came and then Target just a few DAYS later.)

I am excited. After revising my list I saw that I didn't have enough cards but managed to find some yesterday for a good price. Also got the stamps!! I will be doing the cards while my kids go bowling this a.m.

Yes! you need to save on anything you can, whenever you can...I just feel relieved--and they had everything I was looking for! People had carts overflowing at my store. I haven't seen many posts on this thread, maybe people are still shopping/coming home from their TRU adventure. Now I have to hide all of this...

Yes I agree with you, the front of my house gets alot of sun, and my red bows have turned ORANGY in the past...so I get the burgundy too. Thanks, I am just not sure what to do about the gate if I do decide to do this.... My DH isn't so careful and we use this gate about 3-4 x a week during the winter, but I don't want him wrecking the garland.. Then again if I don't hang it infront of the gate, it'll look funny.... *PS if that is your doggy, it is very cute!

We took the stuff out to the car and then used the $10. card to get back in line and buy DONT Wake Daddy game which was 10.49 To top it off I purchased TRU giftcards from my supermarket, that earned me fuelperks, so I get money off on gas. I was soooooo happy to get sooo much done! It was CRAZY there, but it was very busy.

Thanks for your reply, I just returned my Zen today. The sales associate was drooling over it. Now I know that Zune is the way to go since I have Windows Media player 11. Can anyone tell me (please don't laugh) How do you get movies/videos downloaded onto a Zune or MP3 ? I have only ever downloaded music from Walmart and I never ever saw and option to download a whole movie or a video.. Also if I get the Zune does someone know the best site that I need to download the videos/movies from?

I just downloaded The entire Carpenters Christmas Portrait today for me. Go ahead laugh--I just tossed my cassette last year--and have gone through withdrawals since.... I am very happy about this. Also downloaded 3 songs from the animated Grinch soundtrack : and 2 Chipmunk Tunes!!

I have the car issue myself --- and our carriers never get out of the truck if cars are parked in front of my mailbox. (I have witnessed them driving right past, and I ran outside trying to catch them..) I tell everyone I know not to park infront, but I cannot control visitors/friends to the other people who live on the street not to park there. Very frustrating. Not to be mean, I am sure there are tons of wonderful mail carriers --just wish I had one of them...

So what are the lightning deals? Something different from voting?
