Favorite Holiday Commericial (new, funny, cute)
allshoppedout replied to allshoppedout's topic in 2009
I just added in my first post the links to youtube for those classic commercials......and in listening to the M & M's one, they said "HE DOES EXIST" and Santa says "THEY DO EXIST" and oddly enough the Dr. Pepper slogan mentions EXIST.com..... wonder how the M & M co. feels about this .. -
Did you like that Ice cream can work miracles and reading her story it seemed like they kept finding another key and another... So if it were a game....and they get ice cream...heck they'll forget all about the presents they found

Today for the first time I saw this commercial about Dr. Pepper: http://www.drpepper.com/video/ Cute, isn't it? The "truck driver" reminds me of Handy Manny :) and my favorite classic ones are the Eat n Park Christmas tree & also the M & M's and Santa seeing each other and falling over WHAT commercials have you seen/like?

((hugs)) I feel so badly for you....... MY DH left a door unlocked about 2 weeks before Xmas and my one son boy was almost 7 when he found the stuff. HE OPENED everything. I was so devastated. I wanted DH to return some of it--and buy new items--because we really couldn't afford to buy more stuff.....but then I didn't know what else to get the kid! We told him a lie, that the presents were not for him (no labels on them yet but I knew what kid was what present by paper and what room they were hid in) Even though he was young, I am sure he wasn't quite believing me....I mean why were the EXACT things there that he asked for...but he never asked if they were from Santa or us. We did buy him 2 extra things. . . and I wrapped it all in completely different paper... I was expecting him to ask me every day if he could have this toy or that toy but he didn't! However when video taping him on Xmas he would say "Wow the CAR from the spare room" or "I love my puzzle from the spare room!" pretty funny. Wasn't such a bad Christmas after all. I don't have a name of any particular thing, but do you think if you looked on line/asked at library there might be a story or 2 about Christmas involving kids who SNOOP too much? Maybe it would give them a hint, I think if you keep telling them not to go in there--or emphasizing how they should not do that, it could make them think more about it and maybe figure it out... Also, what I did was get one of those inexpensive locks that you can put on door frame and door (about 5 dollars I think) you screw it in there is a latch thing that flips over and has a hole, you can slide a small combination lock in it. It is "unsightly" and you are screwing into the frame, but it can save alot of heartache. Collect all those keys. Tell them they'll get icecream tonight if they can find you every key! Please don't feel so badly you are a mom who just wanted it all to be wonderful to them....you can't help that they were mischievous and inquisitive.

Seems like you are only one on this thread that has tried it... is it really that good? I mean is the non-stickability the best you've ever had? ... I am just trying to weigh pros/cons. I would think you need to put a pan or tray under it to get it in and out of oven...that is extra work (to me) and does it matter what kind of pan you have under there? That might make things cook differently? I like the idea of easy storage, the smush factor, lightweight, not alot of clanging around... I don't have alot of storage space... -
Pyrex glass bakeware - various sizes - $1.99

JUST FYI: Wanted to let you know that at WALMART today, I found this PYREX deal: a 13 x 9 oblong (rectangle) and a 11 x 4 oblong they are packaged together in clear wrap as a "special value" and cost me $9.97 This could be a solution if you don't want to wait for it to be shipped/don't want to pay shipping, or if this is the sizes you need & Pyrex site may have sold out of it... These were the exact sizes I wanted so it worked for me This is the ONLY "Special value" Pyrex I found there. -
