  1. Sorry GONNA try and ask again..... Scott or any very computer savvy person: can you post here or PM me with the easiest/most uniform way to print these recipes out? -I don't want every one, but I do want ALOT of them. (and I won't need the pictures) -I just wanted them to be like 4 x 6 recipe card or 5 x 7..... Is there some simple way to format these?? I cut and copied to M.Word.......but Is there some kind of recipe card setting. Thanks EDIT Can't believe after 90 min. I found how to make them the right size--under M.Word------ but here is the deal, I can't see very tiny print. Some of the recipes go over the 1 card onto the next ANYONE KNOW how to make some cards be 2 sided and others not?
  2. I can't wait to try this one, so nice, little individual cups! THANKS

  4. Sorry but aside from this contest---I have a question... can someone post or PM me with the easiest/most uniform way to print these recipes out? I don't want every one, but ALOT of them. Also, don't know that I need the pictures.....that makes things bigger/uses more ink. Anyone have simple directions on how to do this. It'd be great to get them in a uniform 4 x 6 size.... Thanks
  5. Thanks Illinoismom for the link I was reading over there for a long time--I am so happy to find find this particular recipe----> Reindeer cookies Ingredients 1 package (17-1/2 ounces) peanut butter cookie mix 1/3 cup canola oil 1 egg 60 miniature pretzels 60 semisweet chocolate chips 30 red-hot candies Directions In a large bowl, beat the cookie mix, oil and egg until well combined. Shape into a 7-1/2-in. roll; wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Unwrap and cut into 1/4-in. slices. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Using thumb and forefinger, make a slight indentation one-third of the way down the sides of each slice. Press in pretzels for antlers, chocolate chips for eyes and a red-hot for the nose. Bake at 350° for 9-11 minutes or until light brown. Remove to wire racks to cool. Yield: 2-1/2 dozen. and the Butterscotch Gingerbread cookies-- (very long didn't want to post in this thread and be re-dundant) * I was searching for that specific recipe using the pudding mix!!-you made my night!
  6. Another good idea Thanks
  7. Oh these are so cute, you did a great job--and nice clear, BIG photos
  8. OH man this sounds like HEAVEN thanks
  9. Alrighty then--I have no map--but if you can tell me what is the 1/2 way point between PA and GA then I'll blow off my family, meet there and go shopping with ya! LOL:tongue1:
  10. Ok this really doesn't have to do with radio, but I just want to say, after Halloween on Saturday--can't we just FAST FORWARD to THANKSGIVING weekend??PLLLLLLEEEEEAASSEE??? I am so ready to be holiday-girl, : decorating-girl, shopping-girl
  11. Oh this whole subject makes me NUTSO. I can't stand "stingy relatives".......don't take that the wrong way.. I don't have alot of money--especially this year--and I love/need BARGAINS to survive... but I hate when someone says ok $40 dollars for gift exchange--and then they buy you something that WAS worth 40 --a year ago, and is out-dated, out-of-style or something you'd NEVER wear/want...but hey it was $40 dollars--once. I've had this happen multiple times. Angers me because I work hard (search gottadeal, go out multiple times, do BF) to find people nice gifts... Here is my deal if I can't afford 40, I will say "let's do 30..." why pretend I can do 40..and try to cheat someone/give them lousy gift.....sometimes people are just going to get mad when you change limit but you have to say what you can afford. That is just life and sometimes you finances are better one year and not the next. Why "pretend" you will get a x-amount of dollar gift and then pass off something unwanted/cheap. I prefer honesty--even if someone can't afford to exchange at all that year. If the situation were reversed and I could not afford an exchange I'd want them to understand. And it is awful for people to say/agree on amount & then get you something crappy. . . we are talking people that should know you (me) --get what I mean? Me and my sis will agree on amount (it has gone up/down over the years).... if I say $50 with her then we know we will both spend the 50--and sometimes we end up getting each other what would really be $75-100 dollars worth of stuff because we do BF or tons of coupons, etc... but we always know we are getting something the other would/should love.... I/we don't operate like "well we said 50 dollars...and I found it for 25, so I get 25 extra in my pocket..." I have someone I know like that and we no longer exchange. . . And Finally I always give a receipt/gift voucher (so they will obviously know what I spent if they exchange size/need to return) --needless to say some of the worst gifts I have received have come without receipts... And I don't mean home-made gifts--I have received lovely things made from kids/adults that they put alot of time, and love into I am all for home-made.
  12. Yeah! It is just 2 months from today!! That is my fave movie.... I think I did see CV on a premium station about 4-6 weeks ago... tell me who DOESN'T like that movie
  13. shortness and babymains what is the acer model # and....what did you pay for it then?
  14. I appreciate all of your replies~~ looks like the majority of you think they are not helpful/worth it. I will just "be strong" and tell the kids we are passing on them, for something better/a new game since we don't have much $$ for Christmas anyway. Thanks for your help
  15. Seriously what would help most--is to win the lottery--I mean not 20 million-etc... JUST 500 or $1000 would truly help us have a nice Christmas. Not much $ this year. Had some unexpected bigger expenses..... I'd really like the 8 qt. hard anodized pasta pot from Rachel Ray........ and Floor seats to a KEITH Urban concert A new friend for my 15 year old (not joking) he could use one....and a video game or 2....not sure what he wants. My 11 yr old to do better in his school.....and a netbook for him to use... DH--> a truck bed tool box thing..
  16. I have had Wii for 2 + years and love it, Wii sports still being our family favorite... We have extra remotes..but my kids have bugged me for awhile for the accesory things for the remotes: http://www.amazon.com/Wii-9-1-Sports-Pack-Nintendo/dp/B0019N6RG8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1256409275&sr=8-3 http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41YpfXyujuL._SL500_AA280_.jpg I have avoided buying these, thinking they'll get lost/tossed around/broken easily because they are removed and attached often. I think there is more than one kit (and maybe even some not by Wii, but I am not sure) Do any of you find them worth it? Do your kids like them? Do they seem to make the game more real/improve kid's technique? It is their favorite wii game, so I was feeling maybe I should get it...but still concerned about all the above questions? Also what is the best price for them? and finally can they be used with Wii SPORTS RESORT?? Thanks for any/all help
  17. Our 2 trees (one is only 4 foot) go up the week of Thanksgiving (so if I have time a few days before Turkey day, if not then during the long weekend.) Trees come down usually the day the kids return to school-Jan 2, or 3rd--except last year, a few days after Christmas, the 4 foot one was stripped of holiday decorations and Black n Gold garland and STEELER decorations went on until we won the Superbowl-my boys liked this. .
  18. but thanks for the info
  19. I will shop where I have to because I can't afford to waste money....if I had more money then perhaps I could be more selective/be able to make a point. I do not like Happy Holidays....and I do say MERRY CHRISTMAS back....but I wouldn't argue with anyone about it in a store or anything. I don't feel I have the same views as the OP who developed this poll... But I do have some issues that bother me-- it seems like students have long gotten school time off in December to go home to celebrate Christmas,(and I could be wrong maybe it was started for some other reason...) My take on it was that it was Christmas break, free time when people went home to their family and celebrated right? That is what it was called all during my school years...but it is no longer called that......it is WINTER BREAK now.... so it was initially good enough to "use" Christmas (Christ) to get off days of school and everyone was just delighted about it...they did not care how much they said Christmas break this or that......... Santa Claus = SAINT Nick I think all religions should be able to display their religious symbols in public, together whenever they wish and no one's should be removed. I am not trying to aggravate anyone, just saying what I think. I love holidays, and the spirit they usually bring.
  20. Ok, I am going over the edge here, guys..... Last night I put on C.Brown Christmas and I baked homemade chocolate chip cookies... I'd rather have bills and snow than this awful, windy, gloomy October Pittsburgh weather...
  21. Well I see the poll is closed.... I am realistic and don't expect an ad yet, doesn't mean I don't wish for one Moreso, I want the next 2-4 weeks to fly by. I am NOT in the mood for Halloween this year (and my sons don't seem to be too excited about it either...) Just want the weather to get cold--and be consistent-- not 60 one day, 45 the next. Wanna feel the holiday feeling......and start planning meals and lists...ya know.... Ugh.
  22. I think this looks really really cute/creative.
  23. Because I am compelled to.................... Oh and the DEALS and the EXCITEMENT and the Fact that I get the THRILL of Getting What I know will DELIGHT my Kids......
  24. Significantly less, went way too overboard last year.
  25. When it was on 1 or 2 nights ago......National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
