Hmmm...the article on NBC Nightly News's website really doesn't say anything at all, but that Walmart plans to discount stuff...and that Target may too. I was hoping for a concrete price drop for Target.

I heard bad things about the quality of the Dora tv/dvd, so we bought our little girl a Barbie princess tv and dvd player...about the same price and definite high quality. Not sure about WM, but we got ours at Target.

Hubby and I are hitting KMart for the Fisher-Price Kid Tough Digital Camera, then Best Buy (for a non-doorbuster 20" tv--$54.99!) and then Target for a CuddleChimp and Nintendo DS game. I so wish we had more cash to spend this year.

I was told last year by a manager at Target that they no longer do doorbusters, because they'd rather not compete with all those other stores.
