  1. Best Buy! They have the nicest parking lot to camp out in.
  2. The 2 days of tailgating prior to BF! Oh yeah, and the deals we get Friday morning. 41 days!
  3. Best Buy requires everyone to tear down their gear usually around 3:30 am. Being first in line for 3 years in a row now I have never had people behind us mysteriously forget I was just there. Only issue is I fill my SUV up with all ghe gear and don't leave much room for purchases. We are comfortable while we are there though!
  4. Kind of a follow up from Big Jim's post on what to bring for campout. As you will see I dont pack lightly. In fact, it is difficult to find room in the vehicle for BF buys when its time to leave.... but we do! These are pretty short.... Here is the setup inside the tent... Outside the tent... Generator is fired up... Later in the evening (Wednesday) - Watching Planes, Trains, and Automobiles... Watching some Thanksgiving Football... And playing some Cornhole on Thanksgiving day... Looking forward to 2009!!! Starting to make plans already! Tim
  5. I would like to see a Blu-Ray player for around $69. I would probably pay $99 for one if it was Netflix capable. Also hoping for a cheap laptop deal like we have seen years past (not last year!) at BB - maybe a sub $200 this year??
  6. Typically the $25 cert has a $35 min purchase, the $50 cert has a $100 minimum purchase. So no, you would have to order $100 in food to use the $50 certificate.
  7. Amazon just sent me a $25 reward certificate yesterday so I got this for 99 cents. It will make a great gift for my in-laws. They finally got a DVD player so this will be first in their collection. Thanks!
  8. Looks like ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-PlayStation-3-DualShock-3-Wireless-Controller-98050_W0QQitemZ150298089567QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_Games_Accessories?hash=item150298089567&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1234%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
  9. Have not inflated it yet - will do this weekend.
  10. How did you get shipping so cheap? I added an item to go over $25 for free, but standard was over $10 for me otherwise.
  11. got it http://www.amazon.com/Aerobed-Slumber-Backpack-Purple-Clear/dp/B00186Z6VS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1228242439&sr=8-1
  12. My BB did not ticket this item. They said they had 65 of them so it was not being ticketed. They only ticketed computers, the PS3 Bundle, and a few TVs
  13. No secrets in retail. They advertised what they sold.
  14. BTW - My BB in Cleveland has about half the people in line that it did at opening one year ago. Really curious how sales went today.
  15. From BB(1st in line - in the store at 5:00 AM); Three dektops - one for wife, one for my triplets, and one for my sister. Two laptops - each for neighbors. Camera for daughter, video game for son, MP3 player for wife, and finally for dear old self; 320 gb HDD and a new router. - My neighbor joked (in reference to Charlie Brown Halloween - 'I got a rock') "I got a laptop, I got a desktop, (and referring to me), " I GOT A ROUTER". Ha Ha So ten items in all at a total savings of $1,910 (retail savings and fuel perks). So after 41 hours of being in line I could have paid myself $46.30/hour. Was it worth it? Sure, my friends and family get some nice products at a decent savings and best of all, "I got a router" Left store at 5:41 AM. Back home at 6:00 AM, shower and nap! Thanks for all the hard work you folks do on this site. It really makes prep work much easier. Happy Black Friday All, Dad2trips
  16. For me I am getting the $379 laptop for my neighbor (my buds are getting obne each as well), the eMachine desktop (buds are getting one each as well), the passport HDD, the MIMO Linksys Router, the $59 camera for my daughter. So some decent savings and $180 in fuel perks from local grocery store. We are spending some quality time together talking about the families and enjoying some movies, cards, and corn hole! We have all weekend with our families and they get to enjoy some new electronics! Happy Thanksgiving All
  17. I recall they were announced a couple days before Thanksgiving. In fact, the ad that came out on T-Day had an added banner flyer that added those additional DBs.
  18. Are you kidding me people? What advantage would a retailer have by holding out and not telling customers of their sale items? There is no other deals than what has been advertised.
