I'm in the market for a 55" LED 3D HDTV although my wife is not aware of this yet. Any advice in that department would be appreciated! Also, probably some 20-27" LCD HDTVs for bedrooms. Not in need of any puters, but would likely grab a laptop for a friend or family member.

I think this may finally be the year of the $99 Netbook. Can't say that I would buy it though! Also, probably another laptop deal at BB - maybe a $149 deal?

With the Wii combo deal at Best Buy on BF I ended up with a $230 32" Samsung LCD and my friend ended up with a $169 Wii which is what he expected. I also bought that Westinghouse 4 years ago for $479. Time has flown by and prices keep dropping. :-)

Sorry, but I can't say I agree with you on this. First off, what about that person in line maybe 20th or 30th deep that waited for several hours and came up one ticket short of getting that laptop that you gave to the last person in line? Secondly, you said you weren't getting anything since you had been getting out of line to do your webcast. Why did you take tickets then? Does not seem fair to me. Some lady asked me to get her a ticket for a cell phone deal and I told her it just wasn't fair to the folks that had stood in line for hours to get that ticket.

Anyone notice the 32" bundle deal with a Wii that was added? Notice that the TV does not have any Component Inputs. Poor choice for a Wii bundle when component is the only option for an upgrade to picture quality with the Wii. Wii does not have HDMI.

Its really a tail gate party that happens to go on for a few days and happens to end on BF. We have fun with it and get some nice things for friends and family.

No email here either! I happened to be in the store yesterday and one of the workers told me about it. Managed to get the $59 camera. One less thing to pick up Friday morning!

I just got back from my BB. There is a new general manager there this year which had me concerned since we had built a good relationship with the lat guy. New GM is very cool though and even commented right away that he heard all about me and my friends. He said the policy has not changed. One ticket per item per person. So he said if I wanted three different laptops that it would not be a problem! :-)

I stopped in my BB last night but the manager wasn't in. I will keep stopping back until I can touch base with him.

Yes, I am curious as well where you had heard they are only doing 1 ticket per TYPE now.

Do you think BB monitors forums like this after an ad is leaked to gauge the response and then determines their auxiliary ad?? Lets hope so!

Where abouts are you in Cleveland? I would say Tuesday is a bit extreme. The earliest I have setup (and I have been first for the past three years) was Wednesday around noon. The next people arrived in line a few hours after me, but only because they saw I was setup. Next folks after them was Thursday late morning. My buddies and I could really setup on Thursday, be within the first 10 in line, and still get all the doorbusters, but where is the fun in that? It would seriously take away from our Euchre time!

Yep, that was one of of the many videos I shot that year. The guys were pretty sick of it at that point plus a bit tired. I have other BF videos just search under "dad2trips".

I think I have only ever had one BF dream and it was in the middle of summer last year. The dream was my buddies and I were running late for setup and by the time we got to BB we were like 20th in line. Not much of a dream, but a bit of a nightmare for me!
