Anyone else notice the number of cat avatars in this thread? LOL.

I'm with everyone else. Local shelter or rescue group is the only way to go. So many animals need homes, I am sure the right one is waiting for you. But I must ask... how old is your daughter? Is she old enough to take responsibility for the kitten, or are you going to do it? While cats are easier than dogs to care for, there are issues that may arise. Peeing outside the litter box, scratching furniture, clipping nails, brushing fur, etc. Pleae do your research before you get any animal. Why the love they give back is immeasurable, you need to be a deicated pet owner. And remember the only safe cat is an indoor one!

This was the very first time I actually went out early in the morning. It wasn't as bad as I feared. I hit Jcpenney at 4:00, and got the tow things I was there for (pedegg and a remington razor). Then I waited in an insanely long line at walmart for twenty minutes. I walked out ten minutes later with one $2 DVD. They had two registers openat the opposite end of the store that no one was at. Hooray for me! Nest stop was Target where it was another 20 minutewait. I got a price adjustment on the leaqpster games I bought last week, and pickedup the polar express DVD. Then it was backto bed at 6:30. The whole experience was great. But of course,I wasn't after major items. I will definately be doing it again next year. Oh, and my sil went to the sportsauthority and was handed a $100 giftcard.

My husband told me about this today. I am literally sick to my stomach over this. It is just awful.

Ahh, thank heavens I do not need to step foot into TRU now. Got Hullabaloo and two pink dr. kits. Was thinking of getting the aqua doodle wall mat, but decided against it. Used my free ship code and was in like flynn. Boo ya!

I took my girls to the sears heardware deptment, stood them in front of the trees for sale, and took a pic. LOL. I like to get my cards done early because I usually save money, but I never have my tree or any decorations up yet.

I got both the book and the shipping for free. But again, my book was a classic book, not the custom one. I had this free book in my account for awhile, and finally used it today.

I ordered a classic photo book, not the freebie from Oprah. I haven't even gotten to that yet! I just put it in my cart and it took it off.

I got 200 prints and an 8x11 photobook. Shipping would have been close to $20. But I got it for free! Hooray!

Wow, what an awesome way to explain it. I'll have to remember this for when my girls start asking. I know I over do the gifts, but some are from Santa and some are from mommy and daddy.

Target will have the Leapster games on sale for $15. I was in Kmart today and their games are $29 each. So for the extra $1.00 I'd spend on two games, I will stick to Target just so I won't have to go to Kmart.

I brought an email with me last year stating that they honor the price adjustments. The clerk wasn't going to give it to me at first until I whipped it out. LOL. I plan on doing it again this year.

Ahh, love that the Leapster games will be on sale. I just bought the system for my girlies for their birthday. This will make a nice xmas present.

OMg some ofthese stories are crazy. How horrible that people try to take things from children, batter each other with carts and turn their backs on pregnant women in distress. I would never in my life behave so horrifically. I will admit, I have never gone out on Black friday early. No, wait, I did once. DH and I went to Kohl's one year at 7:30, saw how croweded it was in the parking lot, and drove back home. I did go to Sears and Target after 11:00 last year, and that was fine. But of course I was just getting PAs. LOL. I am actually going to go out first thing this year. There is a razor that I want to get for my husband, and I want to experience the madness first hand.
