I went to kmart on thanksgiving i think it was 2 years ago and got some good buys on board games, but i usually dont go, However, the local walmart is going to be open on thanksgiving this year which is new for my area, so if they have something worth going after, ill be there

i had to get in line at the dreaded local walmart:yuck: everyone in my group but mewanted to go there first so wegot there at 2am......... there were bout 40 ahead of us...... by 4:55am.. 5 mins to opening there were over 1,000 people in line. for what i still dont know...... i got on thelocal news though;)

itwas worth it for ne because i enjoy it and saved 400 bucks

walmart horror stories huh............ most of you will get a kick out of this........... the last year i worked at walmart bf.................. the store manager showed up to the store thanksgiving morning to check the progress of the over night stockers to make sure everything was in place for friday morning before he let them all go home........................ The trailers of tvs for bf had be stolen from behind the store.............. someone came with a rig, hooked up to the trailers and drove away with them............ he spent the whole day calling other stores in the district and region and we ended up with more tvs sent to us then we had to begin with.

yea they have thats stupid carol of the bells song playing as they flicker there lights on and off................ they also bought air time for yahoo launch cast radio to advertise all lanes open............ WHY CANT THEY DO THAT ALL YEAR

im not sure what the "exact correct" policy on this is. i use to work for walmart and on black friday alot of items we sold would have their own special upc code for that day. it would be the same exact packaging, same exact product but the upc codes wouldnt match up therefore upon coming in for a price difference refund there would be no difference because your product would scan its original price and only the packaging for black friday would scan the sale price during the doorbusters. after the doorbuster sale was over they change the price in the computers for both to scan at original price. sneaky on there part but they always find a way to put one over on the customers. good luck with that though!

i posted a thread about this earlier and it either got deleted or moved but yea there is a page with 10 dollars toys on it that is missing from the ad scan on here

yea i grabbed one off the tree after he indicated that would be what you would need to be scanned at the checkout on bf.

LOL i hope he doesnt divorce you for running through the store for the tree. thats the way the guy at our store explained it to us. that it would be just that ticket you pull off the tree and it would scan right at the register, so i have my ticket and he better of been right.

this is also the tree i hope to lay my hands on this friday...... i asked the same thing of the employees at my store and they said the same thing i had to come friday for it. so then i asked how many they would have and he said he couldnt tell me that i would have to come in that day, grab a ticket from the tree, and go to a register to check out and take my receipt around to the loading area and someone would get it for me............ the display tree will be in the same spot. run for ur life grab a ticket and go checkout ..... finish shoppin later:)
