My faves are A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation and Charlie brown Christmas. No holiday season is complete without me constantly watching those....I love the 24 hour marathon and will let it play until DH tells me enough :):holiday12:holiday12 And how could I forget Rudolph, I'm cuuuuute, she thinks I'm cuuuuute!!!

I just started this past Sunday. I still have a lot to do, but I'll be shopping from now until probably a week or so before Christmas.

This year is my 5th year going out. Every year my planning has gotten better and better; I can't wait!!

Probably nothing, I haven't shopped @ BB on Black Friday for several years now. DS13 got his laptop for his b-day this summer so that takes care of that. I am considering an iPOD Touch for him and maybe a nano or shuffle for DD6 but those will come from Apple so that I can get them engraved.

I wake up Around 4;30 5 ish, head to Wawa for coffee and a paper (even though I get one delivered; gotta make sure u have ALL the ads). Head over to K-mart if there's something in their Thanksgiving Day sale that I want, come home cook, watch holiday movies and then my beloved Cowboys. While I am doing all of this I am constantly checking and rechecking the ads and my list; don't want to forget anything... All during the day me and my bff are texting each other about our plan of action. Last year I went to bed at 8 to be up and out the door @ 10 for Kay-B's midnight opening. If TRU is opening @ midnight this year, I will probably be doing the same but I may try and get there by 9 ish. :)

You're not going to get a deal on the iPHONE. Apple sets the price on those and they don't go on sale; you may find a deal where you can get a free case or something. Also, that deal @ Best Buy is for the 3g not the 3gs which is the newest one available. It's not even a deal as that is the price they are now everywhere.

Our tree goes up around the 2nd week of December and it is down by New Year's Eve.

How can you say who is shopping for what? I know plenty of people that do not celebrate Christmas that look forward to this time of the year b/c of the deals that they can get.

unlike you, I don't have a problem with it even if there were menorahs around. Like speediva said why is it okay for your religion to be shown but not others?? The true mean of Christmas in alive and well within in me everyday because of the way I live my life so I never have to worry about it being taken from me.

It doesn't offend me @ all. what about the people that shop this time of the year, not b/c it's Christmas but b/c they can get really good deals. The fact of the matter is that it is the holiday season, it's not 1 holiday it's many: thanksgiving, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, 3 Kings Day and I may even be missing a few. FYI: Our tree is decorated in blue, white and silver every year b/c we're big Cowboys fans....Whose to say that Kohls decorated their tree with those colors b/c they were consistent with colors that Jewish people use during the holiday season. In fact, I would bet that they probably have a different color scheme every year.

Last year I slept in my truck by myself!! I left out of the house about 10:30 to get to K-B Toys midnight opending. I shopped there, stopped off home to use the bathroom and then headed back out to get to TRU for their 5am opening. Got to TRU about 1:15, looked @ the line decided I had some time to kill, tilted the seat back and took a nap. I got up about quarter to 3 and got in line and waited for my BFF to get there. When I told her what I did, she couldn't believe it!. When I got home and told DH, he was in shock. LOL He thought when I came back in to use the bathroom, that I stayed downstairs so as not to disturb him

That would work for me. I usually do TRU @ 5 and then head to Target for the 6am opening. But now that Target is opening @5 as well, I figured I would have had to make a decision between the 2. I refuse to go to TRU unless I can be one of the first in the store b/c the line is always so darn long...this would work great for me and wouldn't be a problem; I did the midnight opening @ K-B toys last year.

DS2 got 1 last year for Xmas; he loves it and still plays with it. DS6 will even go and play with it with him. I like it because I was able to get him a kitchen/restaurant without DH complaining about it being "girly".

I don't think that I would get this for a girl @ launch. I would wait and See what type of games PSN has that are geared towards girls... Personally, I would go with a DSi for a girl unless she is really into gaming. Keep in mind, that you cannot use existing UMD's with this system and you can only buy your games via download. No more playing a game and deciding you don't like it and selling it to get something else...

Yes. that is not a nintendo thing; they all do that. At least Nintendo bundles wiimotes with certain games; we got the Wii Play the same time we purchased our Wii. And we recently got Wii Sports Resort and that came with one of the motion sensors.

DS6 has the Wii version and no dance mat is needed. On the wii, you use the wiimote and a nunchuk. HTH!

The DSi is pretty cool! DS13 and DS6 have them; they have a camera, a voice recorder; they also have a sd slot so that it can also become a music player. My kids have the wireless hook-up but they only use it to go the the site to download games for the DSi. Also, once they take pics they can add affects to them as well. My kids sold their GBA SP's and there DS Lites to Gamestop to get theirs the day they were released so I didn't have to put out the full $170 for them.

1. 19 or 22 inch lcd's for dd6 and ds13 rooms 2. train table for ds2 3. laptop for myself 4. 42+ lcd for the living room, we have a 42 plasma now that's coming into our bedroom 5. video games for psp, wii, 360 and 2 dsi's

If I shopped @ Sears or KMart around the holidays I would be interested. I do have a Xmas Club account @ our bank though. I think it's a great idea!!

I don't bother with k-Mart on Black Friday but I have been for Thanksgiving the last few years. My local store was never really crowded. However, this year I'll be going to a difft store as we have since moved; not sure about how this one will work. I may just take the drive and go to the store that I am familiar with.
