Is that 5.1x Zoom Optical(good) ? or Digital(bad -useless) ? Having the glass lens (better) is part of why I have heard one should buy the camera from traditional camera manufacturers, they tend to have a better lens in their digital camera. Good for Fuji if they do to!

A number of Meijers have also been PMing grocery items! 2 I have not gone there before 5am, so I am not certain - I would suggest that you try to ask somebody who works the floor about what will happen, THEN go ask the front desk. Again YMMV as Meijer is open 24 hours and I have seen very different policies in different stores regarding regular sales. techie question - generally yes, it's like buying a car off the lot - you can make SOME minor changes later, but not very many and they can be expensive. If you know what you want, unless you can find something extremely close to that in a BF package, you may prefer to order to your laptop to your specs. A key consideration is the processor - do you want or need the power of a full Pentium M? or will a Celeron M suffice for your needs? There is also the Athlon option, but I have not heard anything good or bad about their laptop processors yet. Good luck in school!!

Costco has a Kodak LS743 4megapixel camera WITH 512mb memory card for about $250 at costco.com ONLY. There are a number of less expensive cameras, although I believe most of them are 3mp and do not come with a 512mb memory card. You can search electronics from the front page to look for more camera deals. From what I have read (and it may have been at the Steve's digicam website linked in the 4th reply) many "experts" advise buying digital cameras from good traditional camera makers because they tend to have better lenses. In any event there are several decent guides available online. What works best for you will depend not only on your budget, but how you plan to use the camera. Will you be printing out many pics? or will most of them remain on the pc? Also pay attention to what type of memory expansion is available! Good luck!!

I was told that those prices for Blockbuster were only for 2 movies at a time, not 3 - that was supposed to cost even more!! Hollywood Video is cheaper - I believe it's $14.99/month for 2videos($9.99/month 90day trial) BUT!! Hollywood is ONLY for movies (sorry no games) and movies must be back within 5 days. I was NOT told about the free DVD or the 2 free rentals!

A number of stores post special Thanksgiving Day deals online (and the few b&m that are open have great deals as well.). I think that some of these deals are posted at midnight on Wednesday. As many people are too busy to shop on Thanksgiving , many of these are very good deals that can be easier to get! Enjoy the holiday, but keep your eyes open! Also remember that some online BF deals MAY post as soon as midnight Thanksgiving night!!

I think they do that $1.99 film developing every year. I hope it continues!! Great Deal!!
