I have the same problem as you OP, my DD is 3 yr and here sister is 6 and I got her a disney mix stick when they went clearance but thought it a bit too much for a 3 yr old. I think this is mostly the case because they usually carry the larger sizes in the Big & Tall dept. That is usually where I shop for my DH, they are nice clothes and usually great prices when they are marked down.

Also Lowe's has a greate rebate program. I recently purchased washer and dryer with them and submitted my paper work within 2 days of purchase and one rebate was back within 10 days. You can check the status of your rebate online.

I am a frequent Dillard's shopper. Here is what I have learned for the last 2 years I have shopped : 1) I only buy when merchandise has been marked down 50-75% off. Winter clearance is starting to peak right now. 3 weeks ago it was one-third 25-30% and one-third 50% and one-five 75%. Also there was an extra 30% off clearance prices. 2) Ideally, I like to buy when it is 75% off with the extra 30% however I have bought when it was 50% off and extra 30%. Never 25-30%. 3) Prices are always changing and different dept do different things. My hubby is a loyal big and tall customer and we always get a great deal. Everything in that dept does not get clearance. 4) I have 2 daughters and the best bargains are in the kids dept for me. I have scored great items there. 5) They just had a 30% off 2 weeks ago they will have one this month, just check I imagine either this weekend or next weekend. As far as Wed or Thur sale begins, I have noticed both so I think this varies. Hope this helps someone I know I have save $100's of dollars just buying like this for the next year wardrobe.

Also check Big Lots if you have one in your area they have them at great prices, I got the nesting kind with the fabric covering in a couple different sizes.

Wow! that's interesting, the girl in the store said that the other prices changed but because the signage was still up for semi-annual sale she had to give us thoses prices and that the gloves, hats and scarfs just went to 99 cents. I don't know, but I was there first time when they opened.

Okay guys, I have gotten some great deals here from everyone, so here is one for you all. The Disney Store has kids hat, gloves and scarf for $.99 cents They have several characters available and they are a great deal. The characters I saw was Aurora pink, Violet (incredible daughter), Dash (incredible boy), Minnie Mouse, and lots and lots of others but I did not know who they were because the scarfs were gone, just the hat and gloves left. Also they had the small stuff animals at $.99 these were JOJO (JOJO's circus), Stitch, and others I cannot remember. The Semi-annual clearance sell ended today, but these started today, so hurry out before they are gone. What great christmas gifts for next year. :gd_pineap

Also, if you have a GAP clearance center close to you, all Old Navy Shirts/Sweaters are $1.99. What is the GAP clearance center? Is that like an outlet store, because we have an Old Navy outlet store as well?

I think you can just call them and ask. I have found them to be very knowledgeable about the other stores and who is closing and if they may have a lot left.

If big lots is in your area, check around to see if they are closing down some locations. In my area there are 2 stores within 5 miles of me that are closing. They both have 50% off and 1 store has nothing, they have stripped the walls and everything, another had a lot more. They are selling the furniture EVERYTHING at 50% off. The cashier even told me that they are planning on taking it all the way to 90% off, but he doubts if there will be anything left. Check around, hope you find some good deals.
