Yes, I scored on a price mistake that Office Depot had on this. They advertised Premium/state/fed for $39.99 with a $10 card last week and when you went in the store, the signage on the shelf said Premium/state/fed plus e-file $69.99 minus $40 instant rebate and $10 gift card rebate. I took it to the register because it was a better deal and it rang up for $69. Showed the cashier the signage and she had the override.....I did not know and apparently they did not know it was not in the system. Usually I get mine from the warehouse clubs, they usually have the best deal, but it is usually a little later around 1st week of Feb. before you start to see them.

Just checked and advised that ticket at the Disney store are the following: Did not know what type of ticket you wanted so I just picked something for you to compare. 5 day MWY (these are basic nothing extra added) Adult $228.98 child $190.64 7 day MWY (these are basic also) Adult $233.24 child $193.81 They INCLUDE taxes. I understand the the advanced purchase you use to get online is no more and I believe these are the same as on Disney website. Compare them with what you might get thru the military discount and bare in mind that if disney does a price increase these are subject to change. And if these prices are more than Undercover tourist than consider using them

Okay the discount at the store is the same and only changes if disneyworld raises its prices. I try to pay for my trip before I go so, purchase mine as I have the money pulled together for them. And something to think about is buying 10 day non-expiring because if you will make another trip in the future you will already have your tickets for any upcoming trip. Now they can be a little pricey when you add the non expiring option but it will save you in the long run for another trip. Let me pull my ticket receipt and I will give you an idea of pricing.

Okay here what I have....bare in mind that I am not military so I do not know the specific acronyms so here goes. Use the Shades of Green (SOG) link here - http://www.shadesofgreen.org/ and compare them with your local rec. Sometimes they are cheaper sometimes not. Only SOG has the stars and stripes tickets (they are like length of stay type) And as long as someone in your party has military id you should be okay. I don't think they expect everyone to be military. I then it is a hit or miss with anyone checking id. Now I will answer your other question.:)

Oh, while I am checking on that....The Disney Store also sells discounted tickets....I have purchased mine from them before. They are replaceable if lost or stolen and can be upgraded.

Promom, I have not used them personally, but have heard great things about them, they are reputable. One thing to remember your qualify for discounted tickets thru the military. Give me a minute to try and find them and I will post...

I usually book it all myself thru disney's website. I must admit I have not done Disneyland, just Disneyworld, but I enjoy planning everything myself. Try www.mousesavers.com She will give you specific info about what is going on and if you want to book yourself you will know what is available and any discount codes happening Also if you want a reputable travel agency she uses small world Also www.disboards.com has tons of info and they also have a travel agency linked to that website. HTH

I COMPLETELY agree with this, we are all different and have different tastes and budgets and you never know when someone else will find something useful. Also if you are a government employee (or know one) there are a couple of websites that you can rent weeks at timeshare properties. We have done this several times and it is very, very cheap. One website is www.getravelop.com renting thru RCI for $329/week and www.govarm.com (prices vary here) cannot remember off hand who they rent thru. I have personally used both and would highly recommend them

Nevermind Marcaster answered on another thread 2-3 weeks before Superbowl. Now the wait and watch game begins.

In market for a deal, bought a 50 inch and it worked 10 mins and blacked out, so we promptly took it back and I and wanting another deal. I have a brand new stand that is empty awaiting anything from a 40-50 inch. How long before the superbowl should we start looking???

I think this might be an indication of the economy and peoples lack of extra spending money, because I was thinking the same thing yesterday about the abundance of items @ 75% off. I will have to make a trip out to check for 90% off in my area.
