Can someone update our minds of what is in the pink spots? I am trying to decide if I should drive the 30mi tomorrow :/

I redo kids room as a side hobby. DDs room used to be Paris themed, she was younger but we painted the walls pink and black vertical striped....she had a chandiler and we bought a lot of accessories at hobby lobby....she had lots of pink poodles I remember. (we now have zebra striped painted walls ) Amazon has ALOT of paris themed posters for SUPER CHEAP, I used an effiel tower one to cut up and trace for a project not too long ago

I also wanted to add that the Kindle library has gotten ALOT better with younger kids book since the release of the Fire. It could be used ALOT in homeschooling, I'd assume. DS has an app he uploads his weekly spelling words too AND I just downloaded a multiplication app for him to use everynight too Instead of buying flashcards I downloaded a flashcard app

Have you looked at the Kindle fire? Our house of five owns 5 and I have bought 3 more as gifts. Needless to say we love ours. No camera but its under your price mark and you can stream movies if you also have amazon prime.

I am very lucky to have a VERY ARTISTIC tween (11) so she ALWAYS needs oil paint, canvas, ect... What about nailpolishes, bath and body works lotions and stuff, purses, jewelry, giftcards to clothing stores (I started doing GC instead of clothes because EVERYTHING is on sale AFTER christmas ) Music downloads, skins for the iphone/touch BEATS were on all my kids list last year. My DD got the justin beiber purple ones I also got her a subscription to one of those teeny bopper magazines with the pullout posters.. What about redecorating their rooms? Both the items they want should come with some Itunes bucks too

I don't know if you have a Bealls but I got a pair of the slip on (shoestring less) in black for 14.98 today. I actually had a $10 birthday coupon so I got them for $4.98 You can never have too many Converse! Have you checked Kohls.com? I get alot on clearence with them when the extra 30% coupons come out! I've gotten many pairs for $12...when they were fullprice at other stores!

I hadn't had any in a long time either...last one was makeup I believe...I am currently in the Glade and the Unreal candy, I sure wish I got the Nerf one. I have boys aged 8 and 13 on my profile and i NEVER get the nerf stuff darnit!

I guess my kids are older. I am going to add the WII U. While I know its technically and electronic I guarantee it will be on ALOT of kids list

Oh yes and I am DONE, DISNEYWORLD and the KEYS no gifts for mine other then that and I am skipping gifts for others on "opps I am outta town"

Have you tried big lots? They get name brand furniture. I personally have not ever gotten furniture there but I know people that have. I just got my kids all Cloud matresses because I am very strict on protecting the neck and back. My kids own Ashley furniture and while its nice looking and reasonably priced it CAN be really bad. Its made poorly and is not pure wood but composite with overlay....I am very OCD and my kids have learned to take care of things so theirs still looks great but I have friends who's Ashley things just look horrible My bedroom is Hooker and I absolutely love it, its pricey though. I don't have vendor recommendations since I am way South of you... good luck!

Great ideas Noehlp... I wonder if your area does a "Stuff a bus" promotion where school supplies are donated? If so you could maybe add them to the list of kids that need some extra help? Here they get a backpack loaded down with school supplies. My husband donated $300 to it in our company name this year and they told us the retailers cut them "Deals" so they can do a backpack with lots of goodies for around $10-$12! Good luck, its a wonderful thing your doing. WTG!

I knew it was a matter of time...I mean all places that do promos like this do the same thing (gymbucks ...and with them you even have to spend money to take money off !! I remember getting so mad because I wanted to exchange something bought with Gymbucks for the SAME THING just a different size....finally I told them..opps I don't have my receipt NOW exchange them X( HAHA! Anyways it will make me more careful but won't affect me much and I definatly see why they had to do it this way...good apples pay for those of the bad apples once again.. I got a mailer that had 20% entire purchase PLUS a $5 gift and I was able to use them both at the same time, so keep an eye out for the mailer, I was super suprised to get another 30% off code so close in time to the last one Saturday too..WOWZERS!

Yes what they said. We have At&t and for a longtime just had one Iphone with Data with the rest basic phones with Data blocked. We upgraded to 2 Iphones and still have the 2 regular no data phones. DATA is expensive and you need ALOT if you use the phone for internet/facebook/ect. They offered me unlimited with Dh's iphone while on the phone with them once, I got it.....I called back to get it for the other 2 and they told me they did not offer unlimited anymore :/ SUCKS, it was well worth the extra $10/month to not worry about it. The family plan for TALKING minutes is not what will kill you (you probally need a LOW minute plan since most companies offer rollover minutes and unlimited phone to phone calls....what kills the price with Iphones is the DATA charges per phone....especially if you go OVER your data plan..start BIG and then evaluate to see if you can go lower. If you have a TON of rollover minutes call to lower your family TALKING plan, that will lower the bill significantly..we were on a WAYYYY to big plan for over a year before I got smart and called :/
